I always look. Sometimes though it is not an expiration date, but a best if used by date. Like milk, if it says 5/14 that does not mean the milk is no good on the 16th. It just means it might not taste as good. Truth is , most times it still tastes good.

I check the expiry date on milk and other dairy, eggs, meats or poultry and bread. I never check on all the other items

Or what? I always look at the expiration date. I don't want to wast my hard earned money on something that isn't fresh or has lost it's effectiveness. Plus i don't wanna get sick!
