Now that he is taking power soon,
Will it be same old war tactic , or
been an American Secretary for Britain
Or hope that he will be just a Priminister
for Britain and do the best for his country
and his people, I hope so.

He went along with everything Blair said...we have collective responsibility of Cabinet. He cannot expect us to forget the past, he's just as guilty and has just the same amount of blood on his hands as Bliar.

It may well be that Brown's staunch belief in 'Old Labour' values will make the country more socialist than it has been. He like Bliar is a control freak and in government circles is well known for his self belief in his own infallibility. I don't know what 'banjet 15' is on but it's good stuff if he really believes anything he says about Brown. If you look at where overall taxation was ten years ago and where it is now you'll be horrified, that is if you pay taxes!. Council Tax alone has gone up by more than 80% this is as a direct result of government policy. He also totally supported Bliar in taking us to war in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I think that he is the most big headed pompous Pratt that ever walked this earth and when he is prime minister he will lose so many voters, there was a poll on TV and 80% of the votes said that they would vote for any other party as long as Mr brown wasn't involved with them..and he is Scottish so why the hell is he mucking about with British politics.........rant over......I don't think he will be a good prime minister

Gordon Brown is a non starter as a PM, I say that as a lifelong Labour voter who cannot vote Labour again because of the attack on Iraq.

Probably, coming from No 11 I think he'll be much more focused on monetary affairs. My guess is that he'll take Labour even further to the right.

Brown's a shifty slime-ball (can I say that without a violation?) driven by ambition, who only wants to be PM. I think Blair is genuine and did what he thought was best, even if he did toady up to Bush too much.
