Perhaps they just wanted an answer to their question. Not everyone wants a grammar lesson. Try to judge the question. If it seems they are just seeking an answer, try to give them one. If they are posting BS, then they don't deserve one. Try to balance it out a bit. :)

Perhaps because you embarrass them so much they feel they need to. When a question is asked the spell checker only spell checks the actual question itself and not the details. As for answers, some people just don't know how to spell right and even given choices with the spell checker may not know the right one, some people are from foreign countries like my husband where the words are the same but the spellings are different (he's English) or there are some like me who are dyslexic and sometimes I'll flip flop words or leave them out because my brain sees something that I have not typed.

Not everyone is perfect and perhaps you should remember that.

I just don't bother to read some questions anymore. The spelling and grammar are just God awful. A poorly written question doesn't dignify an answer.

Unrequested correction of grammar and/or spelling is generally more suited for, and better-appreciated, in a classroom setting where you are the teacher.

Try leading by example.

In addition to leading by example, you might search for questions such as this one, where the writer is openly requesting assistance:
