whos harder itachi,jariya,orochimaru?

whos harder orochimarus says he left akatsuki coz itachi was stronger than him but itachi does not want to fight jariya cox he is stronger than him and kisama but orochimaru is clearly stronger than jariya (he fights tsunande and jairaya armless) so whos hardest

Orochimaru, Tsunade and Jiraiya are part of the Legendary Sanin. A group of shinobi that are the most powerful and most skilled. When Orochimaru started tinkering with the dark side of ninjutsu, he found the way to extend his life through the transfering of his soul to other bodies. At one time, Orochimaru was part of Akatsuki with Itachi. Orochimaru wanted to use Itachi for his next container but Itachi was just too powerful for him (his personality was too overpowering not to mention his power level is incompatible with the jutsu for extending Orochimaru's life). Orochimaru gave up this dream and proceeded to find other containers. Finally setting his eyes on Sasuke.

In the end, Jiraiya and Tsunada battle against Orochimaru. Due to the poison given to Jiraiya at the time of the battle, Jiraiya had a rather lackluckster performance and really suffered in the battle. Now does this mean that Orochimaru is more powerful than Jiraiya? Not by any means. Jiraiya's power is apparent because of Akatsuki's persistence at avoiding him or taking him out of the picture. So this could mean only one thing. Jiraiya has to be the strongest among your three.

I believe, if I'm not mistaken, that the manga/anime has answered this question quite thoroughly.

I can explain it to you : Orochimaru was a member of the Akatsuki but left the organization b/c of Itachi. Orochimaru has proven himself stronger than Jiraiya in the fight between the Sannins. Itachi managed to escape Jiraiyas unbeateable tehnique when he was after Naruto.

i agree with force129 jariya would be it because yes he and orochimaru are senin and itatchi isn't but orochimaru can't take out either because he almost died fighting the 3rd hokage a mere mortal but made it out with just the luck of the hokage being to old.Itatchi on the other hand only beat Jariya because he'd been poisoned so i go for Jariya

I think Orochimaru is the strongest sadly. Boy, do I hate him especially because he knew what to say to make Sasuke leave the village and join him. But anyways to not change the subject, I think Orochimaru is stronger.

FIRST OROCHIMARU DIDNT FIGHT SINGLE HANDED
he had kabuto who is equal or nearly equal to kakashi as stated by orochimaru himself. And if i'm not mistaken he took out Tsunade's assistant and left tsunade's insides pretty messed up.

The only thing that orochimaru has on jiraiya is a lot of different jutsu as a result of his weird experiments and body switching. Jaraiya is really the strongest sannin (mind, body, soul) ok maybe he likes to peek at women baithing but its all for inspiration lol.
Mental:
We all know that orochimaru is sick in the head so jaraiya wins that hands down (living forever....sacrificing people that love and trust u [writer shakes his head]). Tsunadae has a mental breakdown everytime someone close to her dies, before naruto she couldnt get over the past. It goes without saying that as a shinobi jiraiya has the mental toughness out of the 3 *despite his source of "inspiration*
Soul:
That one goes to Tsunade. She's been through and lost a lot and (with naruto as a source of inspiration) still perceivers and pushes through life. Jiraiya's perverteded behavior puts him slightely below her and orochimaur's soul is just black.
Body:
Again Jiriaya wins. with Tsunade a close second. I give it to him because of he just looks more full of vitality that tsunade and he doesnt use any jutsu to hide his rinkles. And orochimaru's body failed him long ago he has been through 4 (including his original) by the time sasuke kills him. I'm assuming his original was worn out, I doubt he would throw away a perfectly good body when he could just test the body transfer jutsu on one of his subjects
Ok so with 2 out of three major factors in being a shinobi won Jiraiya wins. And that fight with orochimaru, Jiraiya was 50% at best, even saying that is a stretch, as seen by him summoning gama buntas small kids instead of the massive toads he usually summons. Tsunade's poison was suppose to knock him out fort he whole day so he wouldnt intefere but being as strong as he was he pushed through it and fought on par with orochimaru without the ability to control his chakra, see straight, or properly coordinate his movements. Tsunade is terifyed of blood and he used kabuto to take care of her. When Tsunade got over her fear of blood, and jaraiya finally got over Tsunade's poison Orochimaru quickly and wisely retreated, because there really would have been one less sannin that day. The fact that he fought those two doesn't count for much. Neither of them were anywhere near 100%, and on top of that he wasnt successful, even with the kakashi like kabuto

And like you stated Itachi didn't want to fight Jiraiya. So i guess he's the strongest for now

maybe they all have abilities suited to fighting against one and not the other so:

oroch is better than tsunade+jiraiya cos he knows them from childhood, but can't cope with itachi's sharingan - and so wants it off sasuke

itatchi can put oroch into his sharingan/nightmare, but jiraiya is used to fighting him and is up to his tricks? (dunno, i'm making this up here)

and jiraiya doesn't like fighting orochi - cos he's a heartless evil snooch, but he used to know him?

i must say though, i still think orochimaru is most evil, as he probably has killed the most innocents, and plus the snake neck thing REALLY is freaky (shudder)

i guess a drunk senin pervert cant quite seem as strong.

i must say though, murdering the whole family and trying to persuade your little brother to kill his best friend comes a close contender to orochimaru,

but orochi is the hardest 4 me.

Orochimaru dies soon enough....don't know about Itachi.

Itachi has the Mangekyo Sharingan. No one that I know of so far can beat it.
