If you don't tell anyone what problems you have exactly, then it's really hard to say. Most problems with the foreskin can easily be handled without resorting to circumcision.

The most common problems are either phimosis (a condition where the foreskin opening is too tight/narrow to be retracted fully without discomfort or pain) or frequent and recurrent irritation/infection.

Phimosis can be dealt with on many levels, not all of them requiring a doctor's attention (see links 1, 2, 3, 4). Infections/irritations can be minimized through proper hygiene of the area (see link 5). Sometimes chemicals in detergents or strong soaps can irritate the area, so switching to a mild scentless soap or to a gentler detergent can eliminate the problem.

If your problem can be resolved easily without circumcision then that's a preferable situation. The foreskin contains many nerve endings that appear to contribute sexual sensitivity (see link 6). Furthermore, several studies have indicated that the foreskin might not only contribute to the sexual satisfaction/pleasure of the man, but to the woman as well (see links 7, 8, 9).

So a normally functioning foreskin is the best outcome (for most guys). If your problem can be resolved thusly, then you should try for that. If your problems can't be resolved no matter what you try, then circumcision might be better than the current situation (though, circumcision is rarely medically necessary). I hope this helped, and good luck with whatever you decide.

What problems are you having. I've had some problems before (when I first started sliding it) and it's relatively easy to fix. Circumcision is rarely needed.

Circumcision should be considered as a last resort option. It reduces sensitivity and pleasure in the long run (since the head rubs against everything and is dry) and makes masturbation more difficult (since you can't use the already-lubricated foreskin to rub the head with). There's a reason why the USA is the only industrialized country that continues to do this on a major scale. =P That's what studies have concluded in the British Journal of Urology:

Anywho, don't be afraid. Click on my username and send me an e-mail. I'd be more than happy to help you out as a teen. =) To fix it you rarely need your parents, if that's what concerns you. As personal experience, a foreskin is a whole lot better when it works fine.

The problems with the foreskin that require circumcision are few: frostbite, gangrene, or cancer on the foreskin itself.

Tight foreskins can be stretched. Circumcision is mutilation, and you should try every other alternative first that keeps your willy whole. Since you don't want to tell us your problem, you'll need to do some reading on your own. You could search this site for "circumcision." Go to http://www.cirp.org -- there you will find lots of information (some about babies, but also lots about men) and links to a lot of other good sites. Don't whack off part of your penis without doing a lot of research into alternatives! Good luck.

If you have problems circumcision should only be used as a last resort. See the stretching instructions on the link below. Stretching is usually faster than recovering from a circumcision and you get to keep all your penis, with all the special sexual functions of the foreskin.

well, without knowing exactly what your problems are it is nigh on impossible to say whether you require circumcision or possibly some other form of treatment. So, until you elaborate, no one can answer intelligently.

foreskin is to protect the glans and also will give much pleasure to you and your partner when having sex. However, if you have problems with it, seek a doctor advise if you really need to remove it. if not is good to keep intact

well personally i prefer uncircumcized guys and ive experienced both. theyre just easier to play with and more to play with. cleanliness has never been an issue. ive seen that theres a lot of alternatives so you should try those first since you can always get cut if you dont like it in the end

It's a personal decision. If the problem is related to hygeine or infection, then yes get it done. If it's just a vanity thing you could get it done, but it's not necessary.

If you're having a problem with it, then go ahead and get it removed so that problems don't get worse =]
