I've had a good think on your question, and I noticed you mentioned that it has happened so many times! Now after naturally wiping this individual from your mind! I would then try and analyse the reason this happens to you so often! Are you over weight? over forty? Do you regard yourself as nice looking? Are you wearing fashionable clothes? Nice manners? I mean your not rude or arrogant to anyone? If you answer yes to all of the questions then except for age you can change all the rest! So dont worry and have a good day.

Honestly, Its pretty sad when this happens because many people get theyre hopes up and are crushed beyond repair for a long time even sometimes forever so i guess the only thing for you to do is move on and one day you will find the one you are destined to be with don't rush in to anything just wait and be patient! =o)

If it's happened so many times then probably what's happening is that you don't recognize the signs ahead of time. Talk things out with other people and learn the signs.

Depends what the situation was. If a friend let me down, Id cut ties with them.
If a family member did it to me Id feel hurt and distance myself.
If a man did it to me Id cry (privately) and then go flirt with someone else!

It's always a tough break. The only consolation I can offer is that it's better if it happens sooner rather than later, so you can get on with your life and maybe find someone who is as big on commitment as you are.

not trust them the next time they suggest something, and keep reminding them that friends don't do that. i would normally sulk or just chill by myself quite sad actually but now tend to do things on my own. doesn't allow for disappointment or heart ache. but wish i could share things with people but as you say its happened to many times before. hopefully its a matter of finding mr right, Right??

You just have to get over it. Time will help heal and you have to realize they had their reasons, whether or not they are apparent to you at the time.
Get involved in something positive and soon you'll feel better. But it definitely isn't overnight, I know that.
