Governors pardon people from death row not for 45 days in jail for being a dumb, wealthy screw up. The people of California should be up in arms that their Governor is wasting his time on this rich piece of trash. Jail would do her good.

I'm with you. with all the resources she has like money, bodyguards, etc., there is no excuse except total disregard for the law and arrogance, it seems. Hail a cab! Heck, she could have bought a cab!! And to try to get a pardon and waste the governor's time????

she was only given 45 days,that's not a life or death conviction.then she recieved a reduced sentence (23 days)she won't be in a cell with harden criminals.they assigned her to a place for high profile people.if only everybody had that option.(sigh)

I don't know about you but I am finding it unfair that they were even considering to let her go free. If she is so rich why can't she get a designated driver to drive her when she is boozed out? Drunk drivers should learn their lesson and she would be a perfect one for them if she went to jail.
