I have a 1GB iPod Shuffle (one of the new ones that are so tiny) and a 4GB iPod Nano. Even when I play the Nano, I tend to Shuffle the songs. It's like listening to a radio station that only plays songs you like. I mean, how cool is that? I use mine when I'm walking, doing housework, on airplanes (but must watch singing under my breath along with the song more so with that one), about half my work day...I could probably do without one of them but not both and if someone made me choose, it would be tough. It's like your kids...you love them both equally for different reasons.

I just bought one of these new-fangled apparatuses. Gosh...it is only a 512 MB, but it holds almost 20 hours of music, I don't think the battery will even last that long. I remember when the CD player was the newest kid on the block. You could get TWENTY songs on a disc as opposed to 12 songs on a cassette. That was progress! Twenty hours of music...now where do I go to get that music to download??

I love my 30GB ipod... I just got it about 1.5 months ago but I haven't been using it nearly as much as when I first got it. I think I just enjoyed finding new music and downloading stuff but now that I have all of my essentials on there and I'm sick of finding new music I've taken a total break from it for about 2 weeks now. So yes... I think I could live without it. But I'm glad I have it!

I agree completely! I never want to do anything without it. It is a great exercise buddy, gardening pal and just great to have when doing housework!

No I couldn't! Especially, when I'm on vacation and in order to not listen to the kids and my hubby and his "bubblemouth" I need it to keep enjoying the sun with a margarita in my hand!!
