Do you have an eating problem? If you have a tendancy to binge eat, then you will gain wieght rapidly. However, if you don't think you have a problem with this, then I suggest you look at your diet, and your exercise regime. Generally speaking, someone who gains two kilos overnight, ate a lot of ****, and has a lot of excess fluid. You will find that if you don't eat to much garbage, and don't drink alcohol, and exercise a little bit that it will be gone in about three days. Try eating smaller meals, healthy meals and going for a walk everyday for at least thirty mins.,

There are two issues here. First is that you have probably created a slow metabolism by a regiment of eating very few calories daily and not exercising. This was followed by the binge that your body can not handle.
I recommend a regular exercise program including weight training and a proper diet. This will allow for an occasion celebration without all the panic.
Also, do not live and die by the scale. Allow how you feel and look to guide your diet and exercise.

A person's weight can fluctuate that much even when they're not overeating; most people just don't pay attention to it. One day a person might eat way too much and the next day too little - one day gained, the next day lost. They just don't weigh themselves. If your weight hasn't gone down or it goes up after a few weeks, cut back on the dessert or extra juices for a while until it's back to normal. Then go back to eating what you want!

It could be water retention or be related to where you are in the month, it's not always about the food.
Just don't panic. It is normal to have fluctuations in weight.
If it hasn't gone by the end of the week following your usual routine, try keeping a food diary for the next week to see where you can make a small adjustment to your intake. It shouldn't take more than that.

Most of the this is probably water weight or the weight of the food in your stomach. You can stop this by not binging and maybe going for a walk afterwards to burn some of the calories off. Goodluck
To loose weight just eat healthy and exercise.

I agree with Luna its mainly water. One day of over eating is nothing, just look at what you ate and remember it so you don't do it again. Try to concentrate on when you are eating rather than picking at food. Thats the easiest way to put on weight - people don't realise they have eaten so they continue to eat. Purposefully sit at a table or something like that so you realise you have eaten. You are allowed to eat bad stuff on your daughters birthday by the way!

hiya,
sorry i dont know much about the actual weight gain,
but just wanted to say, that i hope you dont weigh yourself every night/day because that weight is not accurate.
do it weekly if you are wanting to keep an eye on your weight.
If you are worried, i would speak to the doctor, and he might be able to suggest a better eating plan,
i always worry about people looking at the scales every day, because it can lead to problems (and i know it from personal experience)
