Our Journey with this world begins with our family. Andswer d. is the first step towrds it. As we gain experience we gotta develop faith. Faith in ourselves and off course the ultimate being. Also, we gotta share our own experiences so that the generations cvould benefit from it. So b. and c. too become a part of our life. And to be prove our faith, we have to contribute towards this world. Answer a. comes into play here.

Service to God, can never be justified with just one of those options. Chanting his name, or trying to understand him and preach won't do any good, unless you practically contribute towards the world.

However, just for the sake of choice... Plain social service won't do any good too, unless you realize the purpose. I mean what's the use, if I donate lakhs of rupees in charity, just to get a public recognization. Family has to be an important part of our life, and as you said, 'earn by doing the job honestly...' serves more of the purpose than any other options.

All the best...

:-)

Even if we don't chant the name of the Lord, but engage in selfless activities,it corresponds to worshiping GOD.GOD doesn't count how many times we repeated His name but He will surely count the number of selfless activities undertaken by us.It is said that 'helping hands are holier than praying lips'.So no doubt social service can be said as the best activity of pleasing GOD!!!

How do I choose just one of your answers if it doesn't have the answer of your question?

First is your responsibilties. Do that with prayerful attitude(you can chant your Ishta devata in ur mind then) and without hurting others. After work , be available for others too including your neighbors and society and try to read scriptures when you get enough time.

b. chanting the name of Lord

Chanting the name of the Lord gives Prema (Love) which pleases the Lord.

Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Madhya Lila,
Chapter 22: The Process of Devotional Service, verse 107

nitya-siddha krishna-prema 'sadhya' kabhu naya
sravanadi-suddha-citte karaye udaya

"Pure love for Krishna is eternally established in the hearts of the living entities. It is not something to be gained from another source. When the heart is purified by hearing and chanting, this love naturally awakens."

that isn't the medium of preaching or the form of preaching or the time of preaching that concerns. What concerns is that the preacher must be properly versed with the suitable difficulty and the only that needs to receive information must be a real aspirant searching for information. If the preacher and the certainty seeker are trouble-free of their respective activities, then merely the preaching would be mentioned to have enlightened the seeker. So i think of determination 'd' is the suitable way of preaching!!!

What does God ask of you? How can you be sure?

MANY people lead what would be called a “good” life. They do not steal, commit immorality, kill or indulge in any other antisocial behavior. They see the need for religion and attend a church of their choice.

It is commonly believed that leading this kind of life is what God asks of humans. Since this opinion is so widespread, it would be pertinent to ask: Is this actually what is required to please God?

You might be quick to answer, Yes. But before doing so, it would be well for you to consider another, more fundamental, question: Do you really know what is required to please God?

God’s own written Word counsels: “Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding.” (Prov. 3:5) Yes, God wants man to trust him. Since he does, it is only reasonable to conclude that he must have made some provision for man to find out about him and what he requires so that man would not have to grope in darkness.
Would not God, who created man and who gave him his faculty of reason, be even more careful to show man how to please his Maker? Surely the loving Creator would not abandon man after having created him and given him such an inquisitive mind. He would most certainly provide what man would need to guide his steps in a manner that would be pleasing to his heavenly Father.

In order to please God, we must read and study the bible regularly. If we turn away from what God has to say, then we will displease him. Proverbs 28:9 states: “He that is turning his ear away from hearing the law—even his prayer is something detestable.” One who turns away from the instructions contained in God’s Word disgusts God even if he prays! It is like a child refusing to listen to his father’s counsel and then continually expecting favors from him.

It is definitely D. If every one starts doing their job honestly, there will be no problem in the world. And if he is honest and a good worker, he never keeps his earnings only for his family, rather he consider his kith and kin as one of his family members.*

Study:

1. The more you know about someone the more qualities you know about to love and appreciate. This is axiomatic.

2. The more you know about how to please someone--the better you will become at pleasing that person.

So the more you know about God---the more you will be able to love Him, and the better equiped you will be to serve Him.
