Spirit, soul, etc. what is it?

Question

Some say that a spirit, soul, ghost, etc. is some kind of energy? If so is it positive or negatively charged? We hear about blessing a location to end whatever is taking place there like a haunting, etc. to send the spirits away. But sometimes a blessing does not work.

If the spirits do not want to go, why not flood the area with some kind of negative or positive ion charge? We all know what happens when we short our car battery...whap! and a spark. If the spirit is a type of energy, then meeting an opposite energy will cause something to happen. Flooding the area with a charge may be like an electric fence, or maybe the charge might send them into another realm?

According to the Bible the word soul refers to the entire living being, or to the life of the being -- when used as life, it is said to reside in the blood of the being.
If with spirit you refer to the word being used in Eccl 12 then it refers to what returns to God when we die -- this is better read more deeply than here:

The spirit is what makes you know and be known to God, while soul is what makes your physical body alive. Actually it doesn't have to be associated with the physicality of our world, these things is a state of mind that treats us negatively or positively, thus giving us what people conventionally call "energy".

well ,it all depends on ur deeds,if u had done good deeds in ur life,good spirits will be always there wid u ,but is u have done wrong deeds, the bad spirits will disturb u.
its said tht everybody is surrrounded with a sphere of these spirits,one havin done good deeds have majority of good spirits around in the sphere ,one having done wrong deeds,are certainly surrounded by majority of bad spirits

This become recorded in would, 1843, by utilising Joseph Smith, as a revelation. yet another verse in Doctrine & Covenants seventy seven:2 (recorded in 1832) says "...the spirit of guy (is) contained in the likeness of his individual, as also the spirit of the beast, and one yet another creature which God has created." it will be that we are going to no longer understand the precise relationship between remember and spirit and power till we see the Resurrection in procedure after the 2d Coming of Jesus Christ.
