do you have a high suicide rate on people coming home from iraq,and post traumatic stress,we are getting a lot of guys back with these problems,do returned service people get debriefed on return to home

Yes , they are coming home all screwed up. Just like after VietNam. It's just starting to become visible now.

This was a problem in the Viet Nam era. I can only say there is a big similarity. In both Viet Nam and Iraq, half the country and politicians want them out and the other half wants them in. Politician all claim to back the service members but all I am seeing are service personnel use as bargaining chips. Just knowing your country is divided on whether you should be doing what your doing is probably enough to stress them that far. There certainly isn't anything shown on the news about anything positive our service personnel have done. A little equal time on the news might help.

I don't know because King George and His Court in Washington, DC have extended the tours of duty for our soldiers. God only knows when they will be home. I imagine that there will be many such problems when it is all over. If they don't snap over in Iraq first.

Most of the stress comes from the rules of engagement. The enemy wants to kill you and the US media wants to put you in jail.

i don't know, they might be doing it now..starting it...I know when my son in law hits the states he said he would have to be on base for a week to do???? I guess debriefing.
