Oops. This is sort of the equivalent of a 50 year old woman having babies - it can happen but it's a bad idea!
If you want the dog to have the babies, give her support with regular trips to the vet. She is old, so she will need a general health check now if she hasn't had one recently. I would advise a simple blood test just to check on her internal organs, make sure she hasn't got any underlying conditions, like diabetes or kidney trouble, that could affect her ability to bring puppies to term.
I don't know your reasons for not having the dog spayed, but I really would advise it after the puppies are weaned. Pregnancy is not the main danger for b itches - at 10 years old, you're really risking the dog developing pyometra, a potentially fatal uterine infection that is so common in older unspayed b itches. You obviously don't wish to breed from her at this age, I really would have any dog spayed, particularly one who is now in the age range for seeing pyometra.

She should be alright. The only thing I would worry about is if the puppies were too big, because a Jack Russell is a little bit bigger than your dog. I would take her to the vet and have her checked to make sure she is even pregnant.

it really depends on the dog, you should take her to the vet to confirm/deny the pregnancy…the vet can also decide if she will be able to handle the pregnancy if she is pregnant. I’m pretty sure that if your dogs cannot handle it the vet can terminate the pregnancy if that’s what is best… and if that’s what you want. If not you will probably need to bring your dog into the vet often during the pregnancy, so see that everything goes, well. It might also be advised that your dog birth the pups under professional supervision!

Every pregnancy has its risks. So long as she is fit and healthy she should have a good chance of being ok. I would take her to the vets for a check up and make sure she is in good health, I would prefer to terminate the pregnancy if the vet didn't think she was fit enough to go through the birth. Also discuss her chances of a c-section and how much it would cost as she is probably in a higher risk with her age.
Good Luck.

Complications could well arise with a much older dog like this having puppies. I would take her to the vet and have her spayed. It should have been done years ago. That is the best way to avoid unwanted pregnancies in dogs.
