Use the puddle pad's , you will be surprised as to how well they work. Also keep the puppy confined to one room with baby gates or a play pen. While she is being trained she shouldn't have the run of the house. Keep ever thing that can harm her, up out of the way. Watch where you leave your shoe's. :)
Just like training and teaching baby. Have to be supervised nearly all the time.
They get by the chewing stage when they are done teething. Give her lots of Chew toy's. Rawhide's, pig ears are good, they can chew on these for hours, continue to take her outside especially twenty or thirty min after eating. Give lots and lots of praise when she does good and say nothing when she has accident's. Hope this helps and good luck.

You aren't leaving her out long enough. I have to stand outside with my puppy sometimes for almost an hour. Just Grab a book. Sometimes a puppy won't go all at once, and would rather explore. Then you bring him in, and you have a mess. Also a puppy can only hold it one hour per every month of his age. So if he is 3 months old, he can hold it 3 hours. Also with the chewing, use a squirt bottle with water. Our 6 month old boston terrier chews everything....shoes, socks...anything he can find. And he has a living room full of toys. When she does it, walk slowly to the squirt bottle and slowly to the puppy, and squirt her once on the nose. Take whatever she is chewing away, tell her no, and give her something she is allowed to chew. Good Luck.

After she eats wait about 15 to 30 minutes take her outside, when you bring her in from pottying give a treat and praise her. It might take awhile but it works. As for the chewing or biting she is teething.I would make sure she had plenty of toys and chew bones available. When you see her chewing on something that she isn't suppose to firmly say "no" and redirect her to one of her toys. We have a 5 month old lab she chewed up 3 rugs and all my shoes , I got her some toys and the chewing stopped. Hope this helped. She has been worth all the trouble training her just remember to have patience, they are alot like kids.

Your problem is easy to fix. You puppy is just that a puppy, she it probably teething and needs something to help ease her discomfort and keep her attention at the same time, I would recommend a Kong toy...they are hollow in the middle and you can put peanut butter, dog safe chesse wiz or little kibbles of food inside...as she rolls it around little foods will fall out or she can focus her attention on getting the treat inside and away from what she is chewing on.
As for you poddy problem. Try crate training. You simply place the dog in there when you are not home. When you come home you take her out to go poddy. You might be having the poddy issue due to irregular feeding times and acess to food and water at all times. Try feeding her at specific times each day make sure its the same time every day if you decide you use the crate (which is also a way to be sure she doesnt chew on things when you arent home) get a rabbit water bottle (they have them for dogs too if your dog is a larger breed) and attach that to the crate. She will be able to have water but not too much.
After you have fed you puppy take her out right after she is done eating and put her inthe grass and use a comand that refers to doing her business. With mine I always said go pepees. Now that shes a year old I can say Riley do you have to go peepees? and if she does she runs to the door and waits for me to take her out....its a great thing to do so that if your in a hurry they know what you want when you let them out.
Puppy pads are great for some dogs however some dogs dont ever learn not to use them and they do get expensive. If your dog is a small dog you can teach her you use a litter box they have dog litter and dog litter boxes...

while our pup began chewing on issues we instituted some concepts that seem to artwork very nicely. the 1st difficulty is to purpose a product referred to as bitter Apple or Fooey! (Our dogs loves bitter apple this is how we discovered Fooey!) Or attempt Lemon juice and Cayenne pepper. Spray it on any furnishings that the dogs is Chewing on. the subsequent difficulty is the nipping at human beings, while your dogs does this you opt to grant them a visit. We did this via dealing with the dogs faraway from us, having him take a seat between our feet and stay in that place for approximately 20 seconds to a minute. If the Behaviour persevered than our dogs might get a brilliant holiday, Being put in a community the place he could see the family contributors yet not be with the family contributors, This oftentimes will calm the dogs down and is non aggressive. the final difficulty that we did is that we discovered that the nipping in basic terms got here approximately while the pup became into excited, so we've knowledgeable our dogs that as quickly as he gets excited he could have a toy in his mouth, we did this via ignoring him while he gets excited till he gets a toy. If all else fails there's a skill this is slightly greater harsh and that's while your dogs nips at your arms you gently enhance your finger interior the canines mouth and the dogs will gag him self, not an extremely friendly adventure. this might oftentimes artwork in the 1st thrice of the pup nipping at your hand. stable success Teething became into the toughest section for me.

In addition to the other answers...depending on how old your puppy is and her breed...you might want to take her to the vet to see if she has a UTI. It's quite common for puppies to have them. Puppies go through teething around 4 months I believe, so that could be why she's chewing everything. Give her lots of toys and things to chew on. If you see her chewing on something she shouldn't, tell her no, then replace it with something appropriate.

What we did to help get our puppy house trained was:
1) Make 1 room hers, using a puppy fence.
2) Put newspaper down everywhere in her room excepther crate and her food dishes
As soon as she got used to using the newspaper, we started making the paper area smaller.
Eventually, it was just one small piece of paper.
All the while, we encouraged her whenever she went outside to go potty.
She did drive us nuts for about 7 months before she seemed to get it.
While she still has accidents, she has told us she need to go, and it's our fault for not letting her out.

How old is she? Young pups can't hold it in very long, so there's no use forcing her!
Keep her restrained, for crying out loud. Even when you're around, keep her in one room (where you can be with her as much as possible... the kitchen is great for this, usually floor is easy to clean too!) that you will have puppy-proofed, and filled with her own chew-things.

Use training pads for your puppy indoors, then start moving them slowly towards the door and eventually to lead her to go outside, also to stop her from biting buy a bitter apple spray from petsmart, it help me with my puppy to stop biting on my furniture or you can also buy a spray bottle, fill it up with water and spray her and tell her No, when she does it. Both things, it may sound cruel, but it only took me 2 sprays to have him stop, everytime i pull it out he stops right away.

That's the very same problem we had with our puppy. But all we did is to keep him outside and always watch him if ever he would go inside. I've watched one time in the tv that putting menthol ointments on the surfaces of furnitures would keep them away because they don't like its smell..............
