The horn sign was made satanic by the early Christian church when they took a picture of the horned God of the old religion, gave him a tail and hooves and said he was the devil. It is actually the sign of the masculine and represents strength and power and protection. That is very appropriate for your marines I think. They know not what they do. Early in this war I seen a picture in the paper of a group of marines with heads bowed in prayer before going out on a night patrol. It touched my heart.
