moral of the story

So there many people in this society begging for many things because they don't want to go back to their real father (God)

We all are part and parcel of god
And purpose of life is to go back to godhead
But we want to enjoy without following god's rule that are meant for our safety.

The biggest sacrifice is to take all brothers and sisters to the god, to tell them we can't be happy in this material world without our real father (god)
. So it is our responsibility to take people of the society toward the teachings of the god.

Whether it is Bible, Quran , Guru Granth Sahib, Gita or any other scripture

Simply spread the message of god. This is the biggest sacrifice toward this society.

One can go back to godhead, by simply calling him with love

It would be acceptable for an individual to sacrifice any of the following:
* pride (or false self-concept)
* selfishness
* greed
* ignorance
* fear/safety (ie the exercise of courage)
* immorality
* ingratitude
* time
* money

The list goes on... Giving up anything which holds us back and binds us to our baser natures is a "sacrifice proper for today's society".

To me, the word sacrifice means: to make sacred.

ETYMOLOGY:
Middle English, from Old French, from Latin sacrificium : sacer, sacred ;[[ see sacred + facere, to make;]] see dh- in Indo-European roots

This actually has nothing to with the slaughter or annihilation of something, but rather, it involves the exaltation of that something (i.e., 'when the son of man is lifted up') and the recognition that something is already sacred. With that in mind, sacrificing the individual(including the ego) is appropriate (and necessary) for today's society.

In your own way try to reduce inequalities and injustice prevalent around you without being judgemental.Small deeds are enough.
If you mean religious sacrifices then go by your own traditions
Even these sacrifices are aimed at helping others and not exclusively for personal benefit.

Jesus said to give all of your money to the poor. You could honor him by giving a little of it (although you are still disobeying His word).

If you're not Christian, i'm not sure.
