Do you trust your contacts, your guides absolutely?
Or do you use some discernment, some critical faculty?
Recently I have seem two cases where absolute trust has resulted in so much pain and suffering.
Those from other realms can also get it wrong.
I truly ask this out of compassion. . .
If you do place absolute trust in them, if you don't already use your faculty of discernment, of simple common sense - then please will you?

Marniejo.
I am not clairvoyant myself. My whole point is that twice recently I have seen people damaged, (one actually died), through absolute trust in guidance.
I'm just asking for discernment.

From a Christian prospective one should always share these experiences with ones spiritual adviser. Discernment is always important. In Christian mysticism we say the the 'angel of darkness can come disguised as the angel of light'. Discernment is very, very important. If you do not do this, whatever your religion and practice, you will be lead astray sooner or later.

The first problem is in thinking the guide is benevolent. If it was real it'd be 100% right all the time.

People will pay for a lie when the truth is given away if it's what they want to hear or the clairvoyants seem to know what they're talking about. Even the smartest people can be deceived if in pain or confusion or the clairvoyant is a good enough con.

I believe there are demons & angels & neither know the future. If guides truly did why would we need faith? Why wouldn't God just tell us each everything we need to know? Angels have no reason to lie. No God? Then who are these guides & where are they from? Lived thousands of years ago if there's no God there aren't any spirits.

From other worlds? Yeah & they just don't want to scare people with their physical bodies, right? So instead they give them bad info to convince others they are friendly & caring. If they're from another world how do they know our future?

If you sound legit & a few things come true it doesn't mean it's right. It's 1-12 o'clock twice a day but it's constant. It's never 2 at 12.

Alot of things happen in this world that are beyond explanation, both good & bad. It's foolish to believe a guide would have any reason to be truly helpful. They have their own agenda.

It takes time to know the difference. This is the dilemma faced by Hamlet when his fathers ghost appeared to him in the beginning of the play, demanding vengeance for his murder. Hamlet wanted to be sure that it was really his father, and not a demon trying to trick him into damning his soul. The only book greater than hamlet on the topic is actually the bible. The bible tells us that humans cease to be when we die (until the Resurrection) and that there are angels and demons that can influence humans. So if Hamlet had only read the bible and realized that the dead do not come back as ghosts, he would have realized that it was a demon. Demons and angels know all of ones memories and thoughts, so they can lie and impersonate the dead. So a demon can also pretend to be an angel and reveal beautiful things to you which -further down that road-turns into harmful deception. Any angel or inspiration of God will come to your mind directly, and if you are living in a good and moral way, this is more likely to happen. If you are using tools of divination and/or living immorally in ways that offend God but amuse demons, you will get deception. Remember the direct link that all humans inherently have to god and his spirit, and the path will be clear.

Very good question. I wouldn't call myself a clairvoyant or even psychic although do have something yet totally believe it is only through God I am able to see what I do, and most of the time it's through dreams. I actually share what I see and shared as seen because my dreams have developed over the past few years on the internet and impossible without it I'm sure.
My life and the circumstances of unknown paths ahead seen (through dreams) years beforehand has taught me how to follow the dreams to share in my page.

In here I met somebody who I have befriended (yep, you planetman) and he'd asked a question. I pulled a tarot for him and actually thought he'd come through and tell me how pathetic my comment was. Apparently I was pretty spot on-but when I read what I saw within the card I was aware how what we see can be taken in many different ways and we can read many things from it. I was really new to the cards and used what I felt combined with what I saw but only planetman could see if there was any truth within it.
Some people forget that the clairvoyant can actually be reading about a close relation or even neighbour (I pick so much up from my neighbours it does my head in sometimes) so again, the reader mustn't presume all read is for them or even as read because just like life, and dreams and even people-twisted routes and paths need straightening and smoothing to see a clear path ahead and only time can do that.

Puzzles jumbled take time to piece together.

I have learned just how wrong I got things in my past because what I saw was pieced together wrongly. I was correct with what I saw but made mistakes because I made the wrong choice, and actually went in the opposite direction to what I saw.

Now if that was somebody else, my advice would have been wrong wouldn't it. I would have said do as I did if that was all those years ago but with what I have learned is to open up to thought and choice and by seeing the path ahead it can prepare me. If I see the path foreseen unfolding, I can then make choices because what I saw to help prevent heartache, sadness and even death (one of those 'warning' signs contributed *with marvellous medical care* in saving my son because I was prepared).

I used this with making one of the biggest decisions in my life. I had seen something many years ago and saw the pattern unfolding, and because seeing other circumstances and ignoring them I had flashbacks of the 'mistakes' via ignorance maybe.

I used as a guide to help me to create change and it has been the best thing I could have possibly done.

So, I have belief in people clairvoyants (taking into consideration so many fakes are out there) but I'd say use your own instincts, listen to your own choices given and not just to what you are being told, just allow it to open you to thought.

Yes! I do have the gift to see what is ahead for others and am ask often to guide people. What it all boils down to is choice. Every one has choices. There are no absolutes. I will not tell people what choice they should make. This gift can be guided by God or by Satans best. I make sure God is the one sending the message and as I said, there is no so called DESTINY. We all have our paths to follow and the best way to find which way to go at any given time is to choose prayerfully. Yes I can see whats up ahead for a person. But I will tell them to chose for themselves. One person has no right to tell another person what is best for them. They must chose for themselves. I would feel mortified if I instructed a person to make choice that would cause them difficulty or distress. Sadly some are so quick to show off their skill that they don't consider the source of the message.

You should be able to trust them - they will not let anything happen to you that isn't part of your 'path'. If you are not sure, ask them for more guidance.

Those from the other realms only have love in their hearts and in their intentions. And will not harm or cause grief to you.

There is nothging wrong with asking them more questions and for more guidance so you can feel comfortable with the answers and what you are getting from them.

It's all about growing and learning...pain and heartache is a part of that process.

Hope this helps - and don;t be discouraged, they are there to help us

You must always use your own intuition when dealing with anything of a spiritual or psychic nature . Let your own higher mind be your guide if something feels instinctively wrong or false it probably is . We have free will .
