Work ethic.
I started at my first job thinking I could just 'goof off' and get a pay check. I quit the first time someone tried to show me how to do the job correctly. The second job I was able to do just enough to get by for 5 years. When economy was bad in late 70's, I was the first one to be 'let go' even though I had been there longer than several people. That's where I learned my lesson.
The next job I had, I worked hard, came in on time, and missed very few days. I found that there were rewards to doing a job well other than just a paycheck.
I should have learned in school that there were rewards to learning other than just a good report card.
This was not my school's fault that I was slow to learn about doing my best...but it sure makes me stress to my son as I teach him.

ok, properly anybody has been preaching that morals might desire to learn in school and a few people have even had the presence of techniques to declare that instructors are only the enforcers even as mum and dad might desire to be coaching those issues. you could say that fogeys might desire to be doing a great variety of issues however the reality of the situation is that a lot of mum and dad available did no longer even pick to have toddlers interior the 1st place and are not prone to alter. properly i think that faith, english and extracurriculars are maximum mandatory to instruct in colleges. Even in a public college coaching some type of distinctive reigions provides toddlers a examine out distinctive cultures and, if taught appropriate, provides you many instructions on morals and appreciate. As a new child learns english and literature they strengthen their vocabulary and examine greater. by using examining greater you may get many distinctive insights on people and the international on the instant. You strengthen your techniques and you learn lots, in spite of that's you examine. Extracurriculars (artwork, music, well-being club) enable one to particular themselves, launch pent up emotions and those unforced subjects enable scholars to get excitement from themselves. toddlers can open up their minds and lives by using those instructions (music is nutrition for the soul-and different such cliches). And interior the very least they save teenagers off the streets and getting into drugs..issues like that.

Math,Reading,Spelling....And any of the over all subjects they claim they do teach!
Check the over all statistics..According to the state M.A.P and S.A.T.'s.....Our children are failing at alarming rates!

Now I saw some people say the schools are teaching the kids to love, care...etc. However keep in mind it's not the schools job to teach our kid's these things.
The schools are failing at the job of educating our kids.
Why would be expect them to succeed at our(the parents) job??
God bless
