I see that you do love bottled water. But I won't say anything, i'll just laugh to myself. My tap water tastes better than any bottled water I've tasted. And a hell of a lot cheaper, too!

You all have it put into your feeble little minds that bottled water tastes better. Who brainwashed you?

I don't drink bottled water. Nor did my mom, who lived to be 92, neither did her sister who lived to be 95 and their dad didn't drink bottled water; he lived to be 94.

Only when traveling ...I have learned that not all waters are the same...and the effects can be quite unpleasant......

I have seen the reports on bottle water...and the effects of it sitting around....I know it is not as good for you as water that is being circulated continuously....but, like I said..some tap waters and depending on the treatment the water undergoes can actually effect people in a negative way...

I don't know if people who buy bottled water should be considered as "foolish"...because sometimes there is no choice...I had friends who didn't live in an area that had city water available..and their well water was mixed with natural gas.....even boiled...this water was found to be unsafe to drink...sometimes people don't have a choice and it has nothing to do with being foolish......

I do because it is my best way to supply my water needs. I am a long distance truck driver and I have to have water. Since I don't have a kitchen to walk into and turn on the tap, I buy my water by the gallon. I have a 1 gallon water jug that I fill with ice from the pop machines at truck stop, then I fill it up with the water from the jug that I bought. Sometimes, I get ice at a place that has yucky water and it fouls the taste of my water. I know that the water I buy sometimes is just city water that undergoes filtration and reverse osmosis. I think that they have to say if the water is from a municipal source, but maybe those are local laws, I don't know. Some water is from springs and Artesian wells. When I buy water at Wal-Mart, I get the distilled water because I think all their water is from municipal systems.

i do know that bottled water is basically just heavily filtered tap water with minerals added and doesn't come from a mountain spring in the Swiss Alps :P

I do, but only to ensure I have enough plastic bottles to throw in the regular trash (not recycling) to tell the world that I don't care about its landfills being over-crowded. Drink from the tap you sissies, stop making so much trash. There is hardly room for my beer bottles because you BUY!! WATER... It is free out of my tap.

I don't buy it, I think it is a waste of money. They only time I buy the bottled water is if I need the bottle for the gym, bike riding, etc. Then I just refill it until it gets too worn.

I do. Of course, we never know for sure what we are drinking, but it sure tastes a lot better and smells better than my chlorine treated water.
