i neuter cats but i have no idea how to explain it in words!

Yeah that's right, we just hack away with a rusty blade.

An incision is made into the scrotum, under ANAESTHETIC, and the testicles are exteriorized through this incision. They are then tied off with suture material or clamped with forceps, and severed with a scalpel blade. It is a very tiny incision, so no stitches are needed.

This is a very different technique to dog castration, where the incision is made in the abdomen between the penis and scrotum, and the testicles are pulled back through this incision, leaving an empty scrotum that eventually shrivels up and disappears. The same happens to a cat's scrotum after the testicles have been removed. Dog castrations require stitches.

lol... I'm sure it's a little more professional than that. I just felt so bad having to get my cat neutered... He had the HUGEST balls I've ever seen on a cat!

not quite they very carefullt cut the balls off then stitch them up.
