1 Tim. 3:16 - By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory. (NASB ©1995)

John 18:37
7 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

I am not going to use the Bible. I am an Episcopalian and not everything we know is in the Bible.

Theologically, Jesus is the mediator between heaven and earth. I will follow the Eastern Churches thoughts here since they are the oldest. Man was made in the image of God, but did not live up to the image that was in him. (this is what the Western church calls 'original sin' and has a different idea about what it means.)The gap between the world of God and the world of man needed to be brought together. Man was incapable of becoming as God, so God had to become man. In so doing in the person of Jesus, the world of God (heaven) was united to the world of man (creation). Jesus is the bridge. He is the only way for mankind to be reunited with God as one with God.

There are different views on the process of Salvation. The most important event for some is the incarnation. That moment in time in which God became one with us. Jesus was a role model for us. And in being a role model, He was a model or Love. When you see Jesus you see God. When you see Jesus you learn more about what God is. And Jesus was Love until the very end. Even on the cross, He did not curse us, He Loved and forgave. Such is the mercy and Love of God.

The (Western) church also teaches that Jesus died for the sins of mankind. I like to follow the more ancient ideas which says the same thing but in a slightly different way.

John 3:17 and 5:30, alongside with different verses of Scripture, state that the daddy sent the Son. Does this propose that Jesus, the Son of God, is a separate guy or woman from the daddy? all of us comprehend that's no longer so because of the fact many verses of Scripture coach that God manifested Himself in flesh (II Corinthians 5:19, I Timothy 3:sixteen). He gave of Himself; He did no longer deliver somebody else (John 3:sixteen). The Son became into sent from God as a guy, no longer as God: "God sent forth his Son, created from a woman" (Galatians 4:4). The be conscious sent would not mean pre-existence of the Son or pre-existence of the guy. John a million:6 states that John the Baptist became right into a guy sent from God, and all of us comprehend he did no longer pre-exist his concept. fairly, the be conscious sent shows that God appointed the Son for a undeniable purpose. God formed a plan, placed flesh on that plan, and then placed that plan in operation. God gave the Son a undeniable job. God manifested Himself in flesh as a manner to realize a undeniable purpose. Hebrews 3:a million calls Jesus the Apostle of our occupation, apostle meaning "one sent" in Greek. temporarily pronounced, the sending of the Son emphasizes the humanity of the Son and the specific purpose for which the Son became into born. Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) – the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Sorry, can't abide by what you want, Jesus was born just like every other child, because he had parents who gave birth to him. He was just an ordinary jewish child.
For what reason, his parents had sex, it's the usual reason. Why did he come into this world, well, because he was born. Sorry, not a prophet, just a man. I know I'm not answering what you want to hear, but there are those out here who don't believe what you believe and I think you have to hear both sides of the story. I don't mean to offend, I just feel that there are two sides of every story.

John 3:13 God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever shall believe in him shall have life ever lasting. This is good enough for me!
