Bunch of people sit in a circle around a campfire. One whispers a secret in the next persons ear and then that person retells the secret to the next and so on. Its fun to see what is said at the end of the circle and how much it differs from the orginal secret.
Not take this logic and apply it to the NT and tell me how it is so accurate since it wasnt even written for at least 40 years after Jesus died.
At least 4 generations later. Thats like when my great great granpappy caught a fish yet to hear the story today he caught a 40 ft catfish!
Explain to me how it is even remotely logical to think the NT is remotely accurate?
Not trying to flame here...but it really doesnt make sense to me.

This is not the case with the bible.

It is with the Coptic texts.

Important not to confuse these with "accepted canon".

Also the "Lost Books" are written by later generations of cristendom:

Epistle of Barnabas
First Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians
Second Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians
The Letter of the Smyrnaeans or the Martyrdom of Polycarp
The Shepherd of Hermas
The Book of Enoch
Gospel of Judas (130-170 AD)
Gospel of Thomas (140-170 AD)
The Psalms of Solomon
The Odes of Solomon
The Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs
Second Baruch
Third Baruch
The Books of Adam and Eve
The Acts of Phillip
and
2 Esdras (100 AD)

You made a good point there. They should be loyal to the country that gave them the opportunity to play. Moreover, their country made them able to coach a national team. But as some users said above, Cricket has now become a professional sport and they need money to run their family after retirement. I don't see anything wrong in teaching others what you've learnt. If the home board can't present them with enough opportunities, they will go for another option and they should IMO.

40 years is only 2 generations, with the first probably still being alive. Following your "logic", If I started with "the sky is blue", even if it came out as pink at the end, truth and logic would prevail concerning the statement. The validity and truth of the NT bears witness to itself that it is true.

Most of the writers of the New Testament were eyewitnesses of the events they wrote about.

Luke (the exception to being an eyewitness) functioned as a scribe writing down what eyewitnesses told him.

Your theory doesn't hold water. You simply choose to not believe and that's your excuse. But it's not a valid one.

If it were mere men, ya, I'd go for that, but they were real men inspired by the "real" God which makes it not a "secret game".
