It takes and intake of 3500 calories to gain one pound. It takes a loss of 3500 calories to lose one pound. If you are used to a diet of 1500 calories a day and cut that down to 1000 calories a day (by a healthy diet and exercise, hopefully), you'll lose 500 calories a day or 3500 calories a week (7 days times 500 calories). Therefore you should lose a pound a week. Figure out how much of a calorie lose you are getting in a week and that should give you an idea of how much your loosing.

By the way, 700 calories a day is a really small amount. I'm not even sure if that's healthy.

You won't gain but YOU WON'T LOSE either, because consistently eating under 800 cals/day will stimulate a "starvation mode", which tells your body to hang on to every calorie because there is a "famine." Doing this long enough will cause your body to do the same with larger amounts of calories, resulting in gaining weight while eating less than you should.
If you want to starve yourself, better to do it intermittently, to trick your body into believing there is no famine. In this way, it will process your food in its normal way and not go right storing fat. "Weight" is measured on a scale, but it is not the whole problem. When you lose "weight" you can be losing water, fat, or muscle. The scale is limited just to the amount of pounds you carry.
I started dieting way too young, and now I cannot eat like a regular person. I must continually undereat to keep from ballooning. It's not a fun way to go through life.

This is a dangerously low calorie intake. Your body will be in ketosis which means that, yes, it will burn fat, but also lean muscle. This means that once you come off the diet, you will regain the weight and find it harder to lose it next time, as lean muscle burns seven more times the amount of calories than fat.

You need a diet of no less than 1200 calories a day which should be BALANCED, and a healthy (ie not excessive) amount of exercise. This is roughly thirty minutes cardiovascular, five times a week.

You should aim for weight loss of no more than 2kg a week. This amount means that it is fat, and not fluid or lean muscle, that is being lost.

You need to go see your doctor and dietician before you do serious damage to your body.

I know that you want to lose weight, but you must do it safely and healthily.

Eating anything will make you gain weight. Simply because it has weight.

It really doesnt matter how much you eat as long as you exercise (walk/run/work out) everyday.

The people who are obese eat and don't exercise. If you eat and exercise, you'll be fit and fine.
