Religion and faith impacts my life. I'm interested in the subject.
Get it?
You don't have to be a dog to hang out in the dog section, and you don't even have to be a dog OWNER. You just have to know something about dogs or be interested in the subject of dogs.

properly, the place ought to they be? i think of that all people must be allowed everywhere they choose. it quite is a public communicate board and a super form of questions are directed in the direction of them the two at as quickly as or in a roundabout way, so why not come and the two answer or take care of themselves from each and all of the assaults. confident, some come to argue, have exciting and likewise there's no type that especially says Atheist section. merely because of the fact they don't have self assurance in a god does not mean they don't have solutions for people who do. additionally, they save anybody thinking and asking further and extra questions, so what does it harm?

This section is more about philosophy than about religion. The meaning of life is more a philosopical than a religious question.
The interest in religion comes from the fact that most atheists live in a society that is drenched in a bucket filled with God. Most atheists are the only true fighters for freedom of religion. We want all religions to be treated equally, that includes simple things: not one particular God all over the laws, on the money, on the courthouses, in schools, etc. It's all the gods or no god in public. Either way, we don't care.
I also answer questions in the gay section, and I'm straight. However, I also care for humanity, and I care for the fact that homosexuals should have equal rights. So, I answer there as well.
Hell, I sometimes even answer questions in the Royalty section, and I've honestly never seen a real King or Queen post a question or answer there.

See, here's the thing....I'm not gay, but I have hung out in the gay section just so I could learn about them. Not to belittle them but to BROADEN my own perspective. So as not to BE-little, myself.
You don't understand Spirituality if you honestly cant see that this section of Y!A basically threw the Hatfields and the Mccoys together in the same space and said "Be nice, or we'll steal all your questions".
As a pagan with definite athiest leanings (thanks everyone for that gift of insight), "spirituality" speaks to me.
I wish you Christians would just get that! The word Spirituality belongs to everyone and that is why we are here!
Why we stay is another matter. You don't own this space, yet you have so much of the floor. Yes, your being asked to account for so much of the myths that have affected us all, and for thousands of years no less.
Deal with it.

Because my friend, An Atheist is a religious fanatic, only one who is in denial, due to their inability to grasp the concepts of faith. What they don't realize is that just like religious people have faith that God exists, but they cant prove it. Atheists have the same faith God doesn't exist based on the same ideology that there's no proof. Still a leap of faith, because they cant know that 100%.
Logic says to at least say I don't know if god exists or not, and be agnostic!

You might consult "Resolved Questions" for a complete and exhaustive discussion of this frequently posed query.
But before you do, can you explain to me why you don't use the plural form of the noun "atheist," when it is clear you are speaking of more than one?

Because an atheist has no existence (spiritually) apart from theists. They are anti theists and are comparable to sour without sweet. Someday they will be totally non existent.
