HOW FUNNY. I have two Maltese dogs too. Their names are Joseph and Maxwell. We named them when we got them. NOW we call them JO JO and MADDIE. HOW different is that from their given names?
My point is, I would get to know your pup BEFORE you name him. It doesn't matter if he goes without a name for a week. Actually one of the names I had was Baxter and I wish I would have used it now. It is too late to change my boy's names. BUT, you can learn from my mistake.....
Does this mean I have to get another dog? NO, just kidding.

Okay, it's not very manly (but neither is bonbon or sugar!) I think that Sunshine is the very best name for a Yorkie. You can nickname him Sunny (Sonny). Definitely boyish if not manly.
