I just bought this Veet stuff for my legs, so i went home an used it. i only kept it on for roughly 3-4 minutes, then i washed it off with a wash cloth. but even now, about an hour or two after, it'ssitll burning. it's red in little dots, and slightly numb. this is my first time using any hair removal product, and i'm wondering if this is commonm, or should i be calling poisin control?

Veet and all of those other creams/lotions arent good for people with sensitive skin.

Sounds like you may have an allergic reaction to it. Take an antihistamine, and place a cool cloth on it for about 10 minutes.

If it causes you more pain later, or the red spots dont lessen, get to your doctors right away... also check for swelling.

you have a contact dermatitis from an ingredient in the veet perhaps. i would apply an over the counter cortisone cream 2-3 times a day to the areas that are red. (or what the directions say on the tube.) this should reduce the inflammation and your legs should be back to normal in a few days. the benedryl suggestion would not hurt, but will perhaps make you sleepy so take only at night.
