they sleep/rest in grass beds and near structure

Most all fish spend time in an energy-saving state that can be called"rest", and we might even call theirbehavior "sleep", though it is probably different than "sleep" in most land animals. Many fish, like Bass and perch, rest on or under logs at night. Coral reef fish active in the day, hide and rest in crevicesand cracks in the reef to avoid being eaten at night.
The resting behavior of fish is very different from their behavior the rest of the day. Many minnows, for example, which are very active in schools during the day, scatter and remain motionless in shallow water at night. Many fish "rest" or "sleep" during the day and are active at night instead, but almost all fish sleep.
There are some animals that never stop swimming, like many species o fshark, however, they HAVE to keep moving to push water through their mouthsin order to breathe, and they may still sleep while moving, we just don't know yet. Some sharks do rest for short times though

Fish dont close there eyes. yet you could tell by potential of techniques like wether they are shifting and what positions they are in. additionally what place. some fish like drowsing on the gravel on a similar time as some fish want leaf beds. some fish(nicely mine anyhow) are experienced that mild potential nutrients or you potential nutrients(definite fish are dumb yet no longer that dumb) so whilst ever you come back by potential of or turn on the lighting fixtures fixtures they could wide awake directly so you might no longer think of they are drowsing yet they may be. once I had fish who have been extremely lively yet as quickly as whilst i became into staying up previous due I snuck to the aquaium and became on the mild and there they have been drowsing. Then after a pair secong a number of them began waking up. additionally once you think of a fish is ineffective, if its nevertheless upright, faucet the glass or poke it gently with a internet because of the fact it ought to in elementary terms be drowsing.

a fish would be sleeping if they stay still in the bottom.
fish have simple brain, so they don't dream. their sleeping process is only by resting or deactivating some part of their brain, until they woke up.
