I know this is a question page but Im really worried my dad has cancer, hes smoked for years, he has a terrible cough that has worsend the past month, he gets back and shoulder pain and has within the last week begun to cough up blood. Hes going in to the doctor to get it check out, will you please say a prayer tonight for my father so that he may not have cancer and maybe will be scared into quitting smoking?

I will pray for your father tonight. I know how you feel because this is the second time my mom has had cancer now and let me tell you that it is pretty rough... but you just have to pray and make the best of it because there is not a lot you could do about it.

Do you really believe that if some people murmur things in their head an invisible thing in the sky will change the medical condition and the smoking habit of your father ?
If yes than you are showing symptoms of schizophrenia and you should seek help from a psychiatrist rapidly.

"I said a prayer for you today" was the title of a little booklet of my late Mother's. I was just going to read a little on this thing & saw read your prayer request. I have prayed for your Father, you, and your family.
My bro. is adicted to tobacco, also. It is a difficult thing adiction to anything. My Mother didn't know that my bro. sneaked off with other neighborhood boys to smoke (they took them from their parents who smoked) as a preteen. I was sworn to silence. I should have told way back when!
