This guy I met a year ago. WE went out for 5 months, then I ended it all for some stupid reason. Then he begged for me to go back out with him and even cried, (which he never does) and afer 3 months, i agreed to go back out with him. Well, one day he walked straight into a pole and I called him a retard for a week. I was being sarcastic, but he didn't realize I guess. Then, I had a lot of people come tell me he was gonna break up with me so I started telling my friends every now and then I was going to break up with him. Word got to him, he was never planning on breaking up with me, but since he htought i was going to, he brokw up with me. 1 week later, I really miss him. I texted him and said I was sorry and I only said I was gonna break up because I thought he was gonna. Then, he said its okay but he is already going out with somebody. He said we could be friends though. I really want him back and I am going through depression. Please, helpful comments or suggestions, nothing rude:'(

Hm.... Well, I don't know that there's much you can do.
Even though I'm a Christian, I also firmly believe in karma- what goes around comes around. You've dumped him, called him retarded, believed a rumor (whether it's true or not) about him, started a second rumor... Maybe he's grown tired of being hurt.
I've found that men have delicate egos- Yeah, they act tough, but once a guy's had his ego wounded by a girl... if it's bad enough, he won't go back. Whenever I have a bone to pick with my sweetie, I pick it in private, NEVER in public. It's demeaning to him, makes him feel like a little boy instead of a man in front of whoever's around.
My only suggestion is that next time you're in a relationship, be as gentle with his heart as you would have him be with yours.

In the future, always find out what's going to happen between yourself and your significant other from your significant other. Do not take the news of what is to come in your relationship from your "so-called" friends. If he is already seeing someone else, it may be too late for going back to what your relationship used to be. Did you ever find out why he walked into the pole? Was he disoriented or sick? That did not seem to be anything to laugh at or to mock. You were very cruel to him at that time. That is what happens when two people are not honest and open with each other. I doubt that you wish to be friends with a man you just dated for 5 months. My advice to you is to move on with your life and avoid repeating the mistakes of the past with your future dates. He is probably just going out with that other girl because he's lonely or to get over you I think that is why he went out with her so fast. Keep on trying to talk to him tell him how sorry you are and how much you miss him and want to be with him, if he doesn't come around then give him a little space and then maybe he will realize what he was missing. If you give him a little space hopefully he will come around but if not, then he wasn't worth it girl.

Maybe one of those guys that asked you out was "trevor" and you would never know it, because you didn't give them a chance. The only way to find "trevor" is to take some chances. (while being careful of course, but I can already tell that you would be) You will probably not find the perfect guy the first time you date someone but that's how you go about finding him :) Get to know people

Well i suppose now you've learnt that you should never pretend your going to do something, but it's nto your fault.
I'm willing to bet that this "relationship" he's in is a rebound and will be over in 2 weeks, it sounds like he really liked you so this new girl he's going out with is just to take his mind off you!!
Dont becoem depressed because you'll look unattractive, have fun and live your life, you'll get your man!!

Ok first of all it sounds like you're in high school or even younger. Relax. No one gets married at your age for a reason. Chances are if he ended it for a stupid reason, it's because he wanted to end it either way and that "stupid reason" was available and convenient.
Don't sweat him. Hang out with your friends and relax. You have years of your life left to chase after boys.

The best thing to do is be his Friend until he breaks up and be there when he goes through his depression and something could grow to be a relationship. Just be supportive and don't get to jealous.

wow, ok well first of all i want to say that everything wil be ok...i promise and if it doesn't then i give u permission to personally sue me.....ok now what i would do is:
1. i would become friends with him and eventually build up to where you were before and support him in his disisions...
2. or you could just sit here and do nothing and live day by day and slowly things will get back to normal.....
3. or you could find another guy......thats kinda hard in your situation though

something similar sort of happened to me one night me and my bf had a little misunderstanding and i sais somethings to him that later i said i was sorry for and i did'nt mean what i said well his mother found out and got pissed off at me but i never said anything to her but everything has worked out and if you really care about him tell him how you feel and let him know tell him that you and him need to sit down and have a talk and let him know that you did not mean what you said
