They would of course claim that they lived because they were good people and those who died were evil. hey will sadly then gain many converts because people would be scared.

Yeah. Because all of those dispensationalist Christians interpreted Revelation incorrectly.
Isn't the "Antichrist" something the Jehovah's Witnesses talk about all the time?
The Bible never even says anything about a specific antichrist!

First of all, scientists would be able to know such a thing was going to happen LONG before it ever could (and could very very likely take steps to prevent it).
Secondly, if by some ridiculous stroke of 'luck' (bad luck is luck too :P) such a thing happened, humanity would be wiped out (as well as most of the other life on Earth--this is an extinction-level event we're talking about here). There would be no one left to casually ponder the event.

On the one hand, they work hard to divide and destroy the world, and on the other hand, the Christians have a prediction that the world will come to an end, which they seem to look forward to with anticipation. Kind of makes sane people wonder.

If a massive asteroid were to hit the earth Christians would not say anything. Nobody would. Nobody would be left alive.

in an ideal situation the asteroid would wipe out all the Christians and we'd finally get some peace in the Religion and Spiritually section...then all the other religions would be able to get a word in edgewise and the atheists could chill without constantly being attacked by christian psychos hell bent on converting everyone to their religion.
