I've installed a Vista driver on a laptop running XP Media Center.
I recently bought a used Gateway MX6441 laptop with an audio driver issue. I reinstalled windows with the disc that shipped with this laptop and all was fine but the audio. I searched Gateways website for XP drivers but none of them worked. Just out of curiosity I installed the Vista driver they had listed for this machine and it has been working great ever since.

You're asking if it's possible to install drivers that were made for Vista on to XP?
