Have you ever faced a faith test? How was it like? Did you fail it or did it strengthen your faith? And, for those who converted as adults, how much time after accepting Jesus Christ as your saviour did you face the trial?
Could you please share your experiences with me?
God bless you all

Just living life is a test of faith.
I personally do not believe that we are handed over to Satan (like Job) to be given "tests of faith".
I DO believe that, once we have given our life over to Christ, and begin the transformation of our minds and lifestyle by the renewing of our mind, that we come face to face with difficult choices, as our eyes have been opened, and the old ways of coping won't work for us anymore, but we are still learning how to trust in Christ and His provision for every need.

It's a process, and it certainly does test our faith, and hopefully each difficult situation, as we see it resolved by our Papa-God, will result in an ever stronger faith. Our faith grows by learning that we can trust God, and that comes step by step.

Therefore, the "tests" are not sent by God so to speak, but a natural extension of our growing up and transformation into the likeness of Christ in attitude and deeds.

Often. I fail often, too. But failing has shown me where my weaknesses are and now my faith is much stronger than it used to be. I think the biggest test of my faith was in praying for my unbelieving father for ten years. I saw absolutely no evidence that my prayers were having any effect at all. But two months before He died, God revealed to me that my Dad would be saved. I couldn't see how. Four days before he died, my dad confessed Jesus as His savior.

I have learned never to doubt God's promises. Funny, even though nothing is impossible for God, I still wonder, can He really do this, or that. But I remember what He did for my Dad, and so I just wait.

It is a different way to live, to have no power and to trust in God to save, to help, to protect. I like it. It's like being on the trapeze without a net. The only difference is, God never promises what He doesn't perform. And He promises He will never let me fall.

wow that's quite the question! :)

I face "faith tests" daily. :)
some are very trying, some are fairly simple. Most of them ALWAYS simply show me how prideful and arrogant I can be. I don't believe I fail - I grow. That's what faith is about. I don't think God sets us up for failure, so if you are being tested, it's not a matter of failure unless you totally give up. But guess what? God is a God of infinate patience.... He will never leave or foresake you!

blessings and "keep the faith" (if that is the point of your question) :)

definitely everyone have sinned. Jesus paid the penalty of death for our sins, and replaced into raised from the lifeless so we could have wish of being raised from the lifeless. i'm asserting this, because of the fact the clarification why we could constantly not try God is becasue we are justified by way of our faith in God. we are examined for our faith. And whilst our faith is examined it turns into genuine, because of the fact we've been able to be content, and happy in circumstances the place we could have been un-happy, and desiring. God supplies you for us residing water, and we can drink and be happy. we are meant to do what's sensible and in charge, and use the materials that God gave us. So employing with our eyes close is a stupid element to do whilst God gave us the miracle of inventive and prescient. i don't pass around attempting numerous dare devil stunts to work out if God will come by way of. He comes up with quite some genuine circumstances the place i'd desire to have faith in Him. do not you already know that there are Christians who've triumph over sin, and are loose from the bondage of sins that they've been earlier in bondage to? and that they stroll holy and harmless. Jesus replaced into tempted in the wasteland and devil instructed Jesus, tell those rocks to tutor to bread, or supply way from the temple and notice if the angels seize you. He refused and quoted "thou shalt not tempt the lord". How am i able to assert i'm greater ideal than Jesus?

Think for yourself.
No one's life is ordered or follows a direct path; don't believe the media hype. It's all a charade. It's what you make it.
Think for yourself.
I know you want to.

If they have failed it, they would not post it because they obviously are no longer Christian and would just tell you it was just a "hurdle" in life.
God bless!
