I always thought the same thing. Our bodies are so fantastically fashioned. Just the idea of nerve endings and cell structure and the ability to create creatures of our own kind within our bodies is amazing. Intelligent Design all the way.
For all of you who keeping harping about getting an education, please, I have several college degrees and have taught science for years and years. Everything I learned in science classes reinforced my faith in God.

Not at all.
We have a model for how this happened based on evidence, observation and the principles of science. It is called evolution.
Just because you, personally, don't understand how it happens, it doesn't mean that the understanding is not available to those curious enough to learn about it.
The human body, and any other living thing, is the wonderfully working way it is because it works. If our bodies were shaped in another way that worked, you wouldn't notice and you'd be asking the exact same thing. However if our bodies were shaped in another way that didn't work, we wouldn't be around to talk or think about it. This is natural selection. Everything we see in nature is the way it is because it works. The mutations that didn't work, didn't reproduce and failed. So they are not around anymore.
Theists tend to look at issues like this from the wrong end of the microscope. The atmosphere, water, food, etc, are not here because of us. We are here because the human body works in this environment.
Over 500 years ago people thought the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around the earth. Science has shown this geocentric model of the universe is false. We thought the sun revolved around the earth because that's what it looked like from our perspective. That is called egocentricism. With all the information we have now, why are there so many people still stuck in an egocentric/geocentric worldview?

we are put togther in precisely the way you'd expcet if we evolved from lower creatures, and we still possess much evidence of this apart from the obvious DNA, etc. We have hair all over which erects when we're cold or angry (when it used to be fur this had some benefit but now, none at all). We have segmented abdominal muscles like snakes (the 6 pack, dude) and we have several faults such as wisdom teeth (greath when we had bigger jaws but not now) lower spinal discs that cant take the pressure (though are fine for those that dont walk upright) etc, etc. However, your ignornace will keep you in the dark.

I knew this would be a flawed argument for the existence of God.
Which God(s)? How do you know it was the God you believe in?
Just because something appears complex to us doesn't mean it required a creator. Ignorance is not proof of God.

The apendix (useless), the tailbone (with the remnants of the tail we used to have).
The more you study and know about science and biology specifically, the more you can understand how there are lots of bits of our bodies that ... miss. And how we slowly, gradually came to be this way from lower forms. Things like the way our eye is "designed" (very poorly. Our main blood vessel gives us a blind spot that most mammals don't have). Etc.

I don't know why they don't believe either. There is no human being on this earth that could re-create a human body, it is just too complex. And what about the universe? Man cannot even begin to understand the vastness of it all. I'm with God all the way!

An omnipotent being wouldn't need complexity. He could have let wooden puppets walk around with 'souls'. No, a god wouldn't have done it all so complicated.

Study biology. Complexity is a result of evolution. This is precisely why people believe in evolution and NOT God.
Ignorance is not proof, nor is it bliss.

Some examples of how "badly put together" our bodies supposedly are would be helpful.

I believe in God and Jesus, but I don't see how our bodies are any proof of his existence.
Honestly, i'd like to know how it proves anything. I'm not trying to sound rude, I actually would like answers and details now. I'm quite curious.

no no my friend we weren't constructed males were made from dirt and women from man's rib LOL. I guess all you lonely women should start playing in the dirt and get yourself a man. For you lonely desperate guys sign up to get your rib surgically removed and wonder what to do with it and hope you will gain a female companion. By the way I'm sarcastic I don't believe in this garbage just mocking idiots.
