Is it good to see the bigest picture possible, or not?

Is it good to know the amount of time involved?

Is it good to know the time for each person in the bible?

I am not sure if I understand exactly what you are asking. But I have training in both theology and art. I have found the aesthetic pleasure of studying the Bible to be comparable to that of experiencing artistic masterpieces. I switch between my own work as an artist and reading the Bible without blinking.

In St. Paul's letter to Timothy it says:

"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work."

(2 Tim 3:16)

No where. In fact in 1Corinthians Paul actually admits that his words are NOT God's words.
