Well, as some states have outlawed striking children with sticks and such, a good (padded) leather Bible might help one stay out of prison, so long as you don't do any serious damage.

It might also help people understand that the "word of God" causes pain and evil to come into the world, and thus promote the 'agenda' of atheism.

No, I'm sorry, someone has mislead you quite badly.

According to the 'Beat About the Bush' guide to child corrections for the New American Century, an atheist may beat an errant child ( only if they are are their own offspring, of course ) with a wok, in which you have boiled a leather-bound copy of the King James Bible, for at least 45 minutes ( at a slow simmer actually works the best ). You are allowed to rinse the wok off before ( and after ) administering the requisite 'behavioural adjustments'.

You may not use mushroom soy sauce at any stage of this procedure.

No self-respecting atheist parent would waste their hard-earned money on a leatherbound copy of a bible. They'd invest in a nice big tree for the front yard and use it as a source for all-natural twig switches, like my parents used on me and my brothers.

It was mostly the psychological effect of seeing that nice big tree full of potential butt-whuppers in the front yard every single day that kept us in line. Most of the time.

No! It is refreshing to know, however that you have a leather bound copy of the King James Bible. Perhaps you are a closet Christian. It is OK to come out.

Being raised in an atheist household, there were no bibles, icons, symbols, or any of the claptrap that christians love to whine and slobber over. Neither of my parents ever hit me with their hand or any other object. I was never molested either, because my father didn't have a sick religious mind.
Your question is a contradiction.

Yes, but it would be better if the parents read the Bible and learned the truth from it.

To ask such a question - clear indication of the real possibility that someone has been hitting you over the head with something if you even consider such as acceptable.

Yes, but only if the flesh-bound copy of the Necronomicon is at the dry cleaners.

christians are the ones who introduced coporal punishment and beat their children.... why because their children were smart enough to not beleive in the BS of their religion so they had to beat it into them.... violence is the only way to ever sustain christianity...
