Is there a correlation between religious belief and IQ? I say yes, in some extreme cases. I think the IQ level tends to INCREASE with religious zealotry, not decrease as many assume. This is because, to quote Michael Shermer, "smart" people are very good at holding on to a particular belief, because they have the mind to rationalize away any contradictory evidence that comes up.

IQ tests measure of how good you (and how quick you are) are at certain useless skills, and is not a good indicator of intelligence.

Here are things the IQ test does not measure:
*Ability to understand and interact with concepts
*Emotional maturity
*Memory
*Ability to analyse body language
*Presentation skills
*Ability to set goals and time manage.
*Ability to hear pitch perfectly.
*The ability to form strategies
*The ability to plan ahead.

Also, IQ tests can be practiced for. Its easy to increase your score with practice.
