Okay now that I have your attention I want to ask this.

Why is it so wrong for a person to be gay?
Why is an unmarried couple living together living in sin?
Why is it so evil to massage yourself(You know what I mean)?
Why isn't it allowed to use a condom or pill when it's worse to bring an unwanted child into the world?
Why is pre-marital sex so bad?
Why did god create evil and good, not just good and let evil be created by humans?
Why do we have to go to church every sunday or else be called bad catholics/christians/or whatever we are if I still comply with everything else?
Why is it that if we do something bad like lie or steal for a good cause it's still considered a sin regardless of the intention or reason for it?
Why didn't God help his son Jesus when he needed him the most and after he already did what he wanted him to do?

I want actual good reasons for these questions. I don't want to hear that because it's the rules. No tell me why these are the rules.

Tell me how each one is so bad and don't tell me to read so and so from the bible. If there is a legitimate answer then give it but dont tell me to look at a section or story, summarize it. If you can give me an answer that explains it I will take back that question.

If you just say that those are the rules then you're just using a fallacy so please give me a good answer. I dont want criticizism or hate answers, tell me how each one hurts our society and why we should feel horrible for doing each one. Except for maybe the last two, I dont' think you can give me a reason that truly explains it. Take your time and I'll extend the answering period but tell me why we have those rules not who put them. Tell me how each one is a sin and not that it simply just is. I promise I will take back anything I've said before but I need ALL these questions answered.

And finally this last one, what is one undisputable and undeniable piece of proof that god TRULY exists. Don't say well it's common sense, tell me something that is physical proof.

*gays- it is wrong b/c god created man and woman to be together. not man and man. There is a passage in the bible that says that a man should not lay with another man the same way he lays with a woman. that he should be stoned to death.
*unmarried&premarital sex- when living with someone you are most likely going to be having premarital sex. And if you aren't having sex you sure want to. This is lustful. God created marriage as a covenant between a man and a woman and God. That they will love and take care of each other forever. Sex is a gift from god that a husband and wife can share with each other. And it helps populate the earth too......
masturbation- is wrong b/c you are lusting after something having sexual desires.
good and evil- i don't know why god created good and evil.....I know that the devil was an angel of god. he was cast down from heaven. Adam and Eve were the first man and woman and they were sinless. they had no sin. But they were tempted by the devil and they disobeyed god. So i dont' know why or when he created evil.
Condomn and pill- This is more of a catholic belief. There is a passage in the bible that says that a drop of semen should not hit the ground. The pill is kinda like a really early abortion. it discards the egg that egg could be fertilized and it could not. And you should not be on birth control or using condomns really b/c you shouldn't be having sex. but if you are married then you shoudl be having kids.....i suppose...
*church- we don't have to go to church. you can worship any where at anytime. The bible does say that you should converse with other christians. that does not mean that you have to go to church every sunday. it jsut means you shoudl worship him. and you don't have to call yoursef a catholic or a christian. it doesn't matter. This makes me upset about religion. Everyone has to call themselves something. Its just a name. Calling yourself a christian is not going to get you a place in heaven. its what you believe.
*God not helping his son was part of his plan. Jesus had to die for our sins. When you accept jesus then you are "washed away of your sins" Jesus could help himself. He could have called on a whole army of angels to help. But he didn't. it had to happen.
These were all good points that you made. Religion is so hard to understand. a lot of the questions you asked about sins.....just know that a sin is a sin. No sin is greater than another to god. Murder, gossiping....they are really different to us here earth but to god they are a sin no matter what you did. When you get caught up in all the religous crap like calling yourself this or your sins or this or that you are totally missing the purpose. Jesus died for your sins.....thats it

Why is it so wrong for a person to be gay? All that the world has gotten from such interpersonal relationships is disease and a weakening of the central family unit that has been the cornerstone of all civilization.
Why is an unmarried couple living together living in sin? Living together without marriage or even in a marriage where divorce is used as a way to move from partner to partner weakens the family and is responsible for poverty on a huge scale.
Why is it so evil to massage yourself(You know what I mean)? Can you keep your thought our as you do so? Corruption comes from within your deepest thoughts that part we call our heart because it is the core of who we are.
Why isn't it allowed to use a condom or pill when it's worse to bring an unwanted child into the world? You will have to tell we were this is scripturally not allowed...
Why is pre-marital sex so bad? I already answered this..
Why did god create evil and good, not just good and let evil be created by humans? That is just the way it happened..
Why do we have to go to church every Sunday or else be called bad catholics/christians/or whatever we are if I still comply with everything else? You don't. All we are commanded to do is not to avoid fellowship with other Christians.
Why is it that if we do something bad like lie or steal for a good cause it's still considered a sin regardless of the intention or reason for it? I can't think of a single instance when good came from lying of stealing.
Why didn't God help his son Jesus when he needed him the most and after he already did what he wanted him to do? Because of the Unity of God the Father went through everything the Son went through. He didn't change it because it is the only way to satisfy His justice (the soul that sins must die) with His mercy (God so loved the world)..

Now you tell me how any of these things you seem to want so much (Homosexual active/premarital sex/stealing/lying) help mankind advance 1/10 as much as moral action has?.... Jim

~ Because it wasn't intended to be that way. If sex happened only between one man and woman, then AIDS wouldn't be one of the fastest killers in the world.
~ Living together requires commitment. If the couple is truly comminted to eachother, then they would get married.
~ "Evil" isn't the word. God has created man with sexual desires. It's not wrong to... as long as it's not an addiction.
~ It's not. If a married couple isn't ready for children, then so be it. That's truth no matter what "christians" tell you. It''sokay to be on the pill and/or be using a condom.
~ Sex is a gift that is taken advantage of. In marriage, it's precious. If all people had sex with just the opposite sex and had it only with one person, then deadly STD's would never be an issue.
~Humans did create evil, God created the good. Satan tempted Eve, she was enticed, and so was Adam. They fell. Humans created sin.
~WE don't. But, as a true Christian, I am thirsty for the word. I want Jesus so bad. In church, I get fed the word.
~ SIn is sin. There will always be away around sin to accomplish good.
~Jesus didn't complete His task until his last breath. That's what a sacrifice is. God had to watch his beloved son die, so that we could live. You're ight, Jesus needed HIm. But, in the same way, so did we. Without that perfect sacrifice, hell would be our home. One thing, though... Jesus Christ could have gotten off of te cross at any time he wanted, on his own. But, he loved us too much to do so.

I hope that helped answer your questions!

1. God created a balanced couple- man and woman- with marriage as a bond for procreation of the species. It is a corruption of this perfect creation.
2. Refer to the first adding that if the couple break up and move on to other partners, they are cheating on their future spouses. Their current state is that of an adulterous affair.
3. I don't know except that it is self indulgent and could become addictive, so I have heard.
4. I think birth control should be acceptable for a married couple, I think it is more responsible to make sure you can support the children you have financially and emotionally. I do not think birth control is wrong.
5. Refer to 2.
6. God created good, everything was good. Satan introduced the concept of evil through his disobedience.
7. We are told to have fellowship but I do not believe it is a strict rule to attend every worship service. I do think it can have benefits however if you are in a church that makes you feel welcome and offers the correct teachings.
8. Because lieing and stealing always hurt someone regardless of their intentions.
9. Jesus had help whenever He asked. If you are referring to the forsaken verse, I think it was intended to reference an old testament phrophecy and to illustrate the division sin creates.

Jesus came to die on the cross to pay the penalty for the sin of man. God is a holy God. That might not mean much to you. You might think, well, so what. But if God was not holy then he would be the worst kind of tyrannical, despotic monster, because he would still be all powerful. His love would be selfish and he would not be just. Do you see where I'm going with this? No? Ok, because God is holy we can trust him to do and be all that a purely holy God would do and be. But because he is holy we as sinners are separated from him. He walked in the garden with Adam in the cool of the evening, but when Adam sinned he became separate from God, and so God made a way for us to be reconciled back to him. That way is through the blood of Jesus Christ, the son of God and the very image of the invisible God. He is God. And so, he finished the work that he came to do when he gave his life on the cross to pay the penalty for sin, which is death, spiritual separation from God.

To answer some of your questions, .....
God made everything good.
Sin entered the world thru Adam's sin of rebellion against God's way.
Now, all of us are born with this rebellious nature towards God (sin).
Jesus was sent by His Father to reconcile us to Him by His(Jesus) death on the cross.
God is just and sin had to be paid for.
It was the only way, because Jesus was without sin. It was a great sacrifice. Great love. If a person knows they are a sinner and confesses that, and wants a relationship with God, now that relationship is possible because of Jesus' death and resurrection.
God's way is the best way to live and He will help us to do so.

God created man and woman. He created them for a specific purpose and specific function. He is the ultimate authority on what is good for us and what is not. Homosexuality defies the function that God created us for- there is damage that we cannot always see- spiritual damage, homosexuality opens the doors for the spirit of confusion. There are many "good" (by the world's standards) people who are homosexuals but they are operating outside of God's order and inviting confusion and depravity in their lives. This is the same for an unmarried couple living in sin.

It is against the rules for my daughter to play in the street, I can't say exactly what will happen- maybe she will play in the street for months and nothing will happen, maybe she will get hit and only get a scratch, maybe she will get hit and have irreperable damage, maybe she will cause a car to swerve and hit something else, causing no harm to herself but other are hurt . I don't know everything, but I trust God and know that if he gave us a rule there is a reason- he knows all the possible outcomes and the harm and damage it can cause to ourselves and others- I have to trust that if he says no to something , it means no and because He created us and knows us inside and out, he knows and sees things that we are just not mature enough to see and understand yet. Sex is not just an act between two bodies but involves emotion, souls and without solid commitment and self control you put a burden on yourself and others that can be very difficult to carry. Sex outside of God's order contributes to instability in the emotions and lifestyle. THe problem is, it has become so common that few understand what the real damage is. It is as if everyone on the planet had cancer, then there would be no point of reference to what healthy is, no one would understand what that was because the disease is so common.
Condoms are not effective and pills have life long side effects, contributing to health problems for yourself and futuire children.
Not going to church does not make you a bad christian but one should not forsake fellowship- it is for the edification and strengthening of believers. We should always be connected to other believes and often church is the best way to accomplish this, as long as you realize no church is perfect and you are not there to point out hte faults or criticize but there to encourage, build up the body and contribute the gifts that God gave you. Everything that God created was good, but He did not create robots, we have a choice to obey and follow Him or follow our own way, turning away from God's commands because they are not comfortable or we don't understand them or because we feel there is a better way is sin and results in bad things happening, sometimes for us, sometimes for future generations. Often times the negative results of our sins will be seen and felt by others or future generations more so than by us. This does not make them any less hurtful or bad, just we don't see it as such

If you want to discuss any of these questions any further, please feel free to email me.

Maybe you should be asking Bible scholars or priests or pastors these things. Maybe take a poll or something.

On this type of forum, the people here can't argue and answer all of the many questions you've asked here. It would take up all the space, and all the time on this forum to even begin to answer.

1. It defies the purpose God intended for the family unit and procreation.
2. The couple should be unspoiled when united in marriage..it is a sacrd covenant and needs God's blessing.
3. I'm not sure it is today. In the Old Testament, it had to do with the Covenant God made with Israel to multiply Israel's seed as much as the grains of sand on the earth, so it was sin to spill that seed on the ground.
4. I think only Catholics forbid condoms. Condoms for the same reason above. The pill (which many Christians/Protestants also forbid) is considered the act of abortion, thus considered murder by legalists.
5. Pre-marital sex forbidden because sex is preserved for the marital bed alone. You become one with any partner you have sex with. You really exchange part of yourself everytime you partner with another. This is a union spiritually as well as physically and it is a sacred act of commitment and union of two people for life, to be honored and blessed by God.
6. God did not create evil. All was perfect in heaven until Satan became too proud of himself and wanted to be greater than God. He wasn't satisfied with just being kicked out of heaven, so he convinced Eve that she, too, could be like God, knowing all things and thus brought disobedience (evil) into a perfect world.
7. Going to church should be a place where you find and worship God and fellowship with like minded people of faith. Church recharges your batteries for the week ahead, and teaches you the nature of God and how to live for Him. If it doesn't do that for you, you need to find a church that does.
8. Lies and stealing for a good cause? Our God is a God of absolutes...right or wrong. When you start reasoning that any disobedience to God is OK......for whatever reason.....you have believed a lie of Satan. Obedience to God is better than sacrifice. It is the one thing God looks for in His followers above other things.
9. God's love for us compelled Him to allow His Only Son to die on the cross in our place, so that we may have eternal life. No other could fulfill the payment for our sin. He is the perfect, spotless Lamb who shed His blood for the remission of our sins. Salvation demands a pure, sinless sacrifice to atone for the sins of mankind. At the moment Jesus carried the sins of the world on His shoulders, God had to look away, because He cannot look upon sin nor associate with it. That is why He couldn't help His Son. And Jesus, being God Himself, wouldn't use His own power to save Himself though He could have called 10,000 angels to save Him. Love held Him on that cross and love kept the Father from helping Him. Love for us. Had either One stopped what happened, we would have no opportunity to stand before the Father covered by the blood and imputed with the righteousness of Christ so we could have eternal life.

You have listed a great number of questions. I don't know how long you have been in your church, but many of these doctrines should have already been taught to you from the Word. I would suggest you get a Bible that is easy to understand and begin to find these answers for yourself. If you really want to know, ask Him, seek Him and He promises to answer you. I didn't understand either one time in my life, and I bought a Bible and began to read. Eventually I received Christ as my personal Savior, and the Holy Spirit sealed my redemption by coming into me. With the help of the Holy Spirit, the scriptures have opened up to me in a way never before.....an experience all new Christians discover. I pray you find answers to all your questions and find a more satisfying church to develop your faith and knowledge of God. It's the most important thing in your life. God bless you and keep you.
