Most likely it a Robin. A little smaller than a Quarter. You could try to keep it warm to see if it hatch, but, odds are it not. Normally when the nest hatch the mother kick the infertile eggs out after a certain amount of time.
The Pic is a Robin egg with Duck eggs. A duck egg not much larger than a Chicken egg.

Depends on where you live in the U.S. It could also be an Eastern Bluebird egg. They are just a bit smaller than a robin's egg. Have never seen an Eastern Bluebird egg on the ground, but have seen many Robin eggs knocked out of trees after strong storms.

maximum probable a robin chicken egg. the mummy may be searching for worms so for at some point, purely save a pay attention on the egg. if the mummy would not return in 24 hours, prepare a heat container that keeps to be at consistent fifty seven ranges Farenheit(22 ranges Celsius) and placed heap of heat stuff in. now p.c.. up the egg utilising gloves that weren't used for something. placed the egg(s) interior incubator. i think of the hatching time became into 14 - sixteen days? oh nicely, stable success.
