you cant choose which body parts to lose the weight off - it has to be overall weight loss.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You should first increase the number of muscles you have in your body. Try to develop the muscles in your arm and thighs.
The more muscle you have, the merrier. Since your body will needs more calories to maintain those muscles. Which means your body will start using your love handles fat stock to convert into energy.
Love handles are extra calories stored by your body because you have too much calories intake than your output. So you should do calories burning exercises such as cardios training regularly. Abdominal training won't help much if you don't do cardio.

Yes i have the same problem. You should do some exercises that target the obliques, go onto bodybuilding.com and search the ab exercises for some that contain oblique exercises. Love handles unfortunatley are the last place to lose fat.
