I mean, I worry about everything and anything.
Did I get a good grade on my test? Will my parents be angry at a low grade? Did I brush my teeth this morning? Why is Christy smiling at me? Is this the correct pitch?
I can't tell my parents.
I think the only reason I've been worried so much is because Christy hates me.
What do I do?

You don't need to do anything. Everyone is CONSTANTLY worrying- not only teenagers (and we all worry about friends, tests, parents, our looks, and a thousand other things throughout our teenage years) but practically everyone. The only people who don't worry about these thinks are sociopaths, arrogant ****s and the odd saint or two. I really wouldn't stress, if I were you.

But, if you are still concerned, does your school have a counselor? Is there someone you can talk to, who you can trust (and that doesn't exclude your parents) and maybe give you a little of their own experience? I'm sure a quick talk with someone will do you a world of good.

We all have the ability to deal with daily stress. Above normal levels of anxiety usually come about after one or more situations/events in our lives have been particularly disturbing/upsetting and the individual hangs onto the stressful thoughts and anxiety builds up. Everyone has their own level of tolerance so you cannot compare your trigger point with anyone else'. You are not alone. Many people suffer anxiety. It is good that you have recognised it and I would advise you to get a handle on it now. Your mind is busy. Try keeping a journal/personal diary. Plan events for the next day each evening. Schedule how much time you will allocate to each function. Whether it be as small a job like cleaning your teeth, or as important as attending an interview. Even plan a certain period of time to consider your relationship with Christy and don't give thought to Christy at any other time than the allocated time. Bringing structure into your days is a part of lowering your levels of anxiousness. In that journal, include a daily excercise regime - whether that be a 30 minute brisk walk or a visit to the gym - whatever is your bag will do - but the important thing is to commit to it and do it. Excercise which brings on an adrenilyn release is just great for lowering anxiety. Finally, be aware of your breathing. From the minute we are born, we tend to take breathing for granted. Consciously spending 5 minutes - three times a day to breathe rhythmically, in and out through the nose - not the mouth as you will get rid of too much carbon dioxide. Your structure should include an intake of food at the same times each day. So if you stick at it, structure, excercise and taking control of your breathing, you should be on your way to feeling better, more confident and less unsure of yourself with these worrying thoughts. This is a big subject, but the foregoing is a start to learning to manage your anxiety and taking back control where the anxiety has taken it away. Hope that helps

OK, first clam down, you are in high school. You need to confront Christy and see if she has a problem with you, then you need to know that no matter how bad the grade is life still goes on. And if you are that worried halve the time you did well. If the worry becomes worst you may need to talk to your parents and she a Dr., But I think you are under a little stress. Take a day to relax like a Saturday when you do have to go to school and you have nothing to do and just read a book or watch TV or something relaxing.

No your probably just hitting puberty. Be proud. Your body is going to start going through some hormonal imbalances, meaning mood swings. Make sure that for every anxiety, you just take a deep breath and try to work it out. Study for your tests, talk to your parents, practive at your games... and talk to Christy...

You do have a disorder. You may need to speak directly to a psychiatrist, however I do have a Bachelor's in Psychology. Without knowing any more details, basing my answer solely on your question, you have Paranoid Personality Disorder. It will take time, but you can get over this. However, I do believe that you will need to seek therapy to resolve all of your current issues.

well you should just focas on breathing.. maybe see a doctor.. if doctors aren't for you then read a book.. i think that it's something other than anxiety.. maybe more like afraid of being judged.. you should talk to a close friend.
