Christians and others do you pray in the car going to work or where ever in the morning? Can this be considered your morning prayer. I enjoy my time alone with GOD in the car. Of course I cant close my eyes but I can open my heart. I get alot out of it. I put on a Christian radio station or a CD and my spirit is lifted. Does anyone else do this?

I tend to pray in my car, in my yard, or were ever I happen to be at the time I feel like praying. Now in my religion we call them devotions, because I am Wiccan. But I find that I have a more peaceful day if I stop several times a day and pray. The Goddess and God are always available to hear me and no matter where I am I find it a very nice stress reliever to stop and give thanks for the many blessings that I have been graced with.

Usually I do a devotion first thing in the morning, I then meditate a bit later in the day. I give thanks over my meals, I give thanks for the beautiful world I live in, I give thanks for the home I have, the food upon my table, my health, my family... I am a truly blessed person, I find that it enhances my day to stop and remember how truly blessed I am.

I try to always remember the blessings I have been given and strive to remember to be thankful for those blessings.

"LORD, teach us how to pray." That request was made by one of the disciples of Jesus Christ. (Luke 11:1) The unnamed disciple was obviously a man with deep appreciation for prayer. True worshipers today similarly recognize its importance. After all, prayer is the means by which we gain audience with the Highest Personage in the universe! And just think! The "Hearer of prayer" gives personal attention to our concerns and anxieties. (Psalm 65:2) More important, by means of prayer, we render thanks and praise to God.—Philippians 4:6.

This is from a great article on prayer. You can find the article at this link. http://www.watchtower.org/library/w/1996/7/15/article_01.htm Please click the link and enjoy what the Bible really teaches about prayers that are heard!

Yes. I pray in the car. Usually, I'm by myself, either stuck in traffice or driving a long lonely road. But I like quiet, so I'll turn off the radio.

I don't do it to ask something. I'm thanking Lord for the blessings I've received during the day.

The only time I can remember praying in my car is when my car acts up...my car truly is a piece of poop and is dangerous to me and everyone else on the road. Everyday I get into it God has to be helping me out because It's a car wreck waiting to happen!

Kayla,

Sure, I pray in the car occasionally. There is no 'bad' time to say a couple of prayers - provided you don't get distracted and cause some difficulty. A prudent person knows the situation and will adjust appropriately.

UUUUh, hon---ever been in Washington, DC Beltway traffic? Certainly, praying for patience or serenity is helpful---but asking for shorter commutes just isn't likely to be a prayer getting a "yes" answer soon....

I do like to talk to the Goddess at times when I'm driving---it's nice reflection time---but She understands that our conversation may, by necessity, be a little spotty.

Yes, I pray in the car on the way to work. Sometimes, though, I turn the radio off for the entire trip to work....it's more peaceful that way.

Yes i do pray in car.might not be morning but i do pray.

John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

Yeah! I pray everytime I get in the car with my mom!

Okay, seriously

I don't pray in the car...but does the school bus count? I pray that i get to school safely and go the entire day without a terrible shooting or anything like that. I also pray that my mom and sister stay safe no matter where they go.
