Life expectancy keeps increasing. I am 66 and as healthy as my father was at 50. I expect my sons to live past 100.

What are you doing to stay healthy? And how long do you think you'll live?

(Don't focus on the morbid aspects of this. We will all die at some time. Consider the positives. We all have enough to live for to want to be around for a while.)

genetically ,i will likely live to the agespans reached by my granparents,gr8 aunts and uncles and gr8 grandparents-so,from my early 80s up to my late 90's,potentially.one gr8 grandad made it to 98,that was in 1967.with todays better healthcare,i'd like to top his family record and go on as long as possible-over 100.ive worked with many patients ranging from 100-106.im a vegetarian and i walk regularly for excercise.no junk or fried foods.sunscreen.daily vitamin.fruits and veg galore.other than that, nothing special.keeping weight down is the hardest thing-however,flying in the face of what we know about weight and good health-all my long-lived relatives were notably hefty, more than me,but not one had cancer or diabetes, and all lived healthy, active lives till death from sudden heartattack/stroke.genetically,im very lucky, and i dont take it for granted.as long as i dont become a couch pot8o,i think im good for the long haul.(hopefully,i havent jinxed myself by writing that!!!!)

There is a test online - livingto100.com which takes all factors into consideration and gives you an estimate. I got a 91. My great grandma lived until 105! My grandma is 94 and living healthy on her own. My dad passed too early from leukemia but other relatives are living a long time. I eat healthy, exercise, laugh and enjoy life. Try not to focus on the bad stuff - just the good!

Logically speaking I would guess I will live to my late 70's granted nothing tragic and unavoidable happens like a car accident. Cancer runs in my family and I don't have the best eating habits to boast about. i have recently joined a gym, and trying to change my lifestyle for the better.

I don´t worry about the length of my existence, but rather on what I can do to make every day memorable. I enjoy life because I believe it´s a precious gift and no amount of vitamin is going to extend it when the time comes.
