My friend and his gf are trying to set me up on this blind date next weekend. I hate blind dates, so I made a deal to go if I can't find a date myself by then. A few girls came to mind, in fact I almost asked a girl today, but it was weird because we've been really good friends for almost 3 years, and I couldn't picture going out with her. On the other hand, I met a girl at my bus stop the other day. The cutest girl I've ever seen, seriously. And that's completely out of my character to say something like that about ANY girl. We only really talked once, I helped her find a bus route. I don't see her much, so I need to figure out what to say to her when I do.
1) What should I say to her, to start a conversation? I don't know anything about her!
and 2) if i can do that, is it too weird to ask her out this early? (before the whole blind date thing comes around next weekend).

I think I'd be willing to skip the blind date to take more time to get to know the bus stop girl (I seriously don't even know her name yet).

If you see her at the bus stop every day, then you could just start by smiling and saying hello when you see her, and after a few days maybe strike up a conversation with her - nothing serious just lighthearted. Maybe ask her a question like if she could tell you the time (make sure you dont have a visible watch on though!!) You have to look at the way she acts to you, if she seems friendly and happy to say hello to you and speak to you then that's good. If this is the case, try and chat to her and see how it goes. Topics...where she's heading/where she works etc? Don't ask too many questions (you dont wanna seem like a stalker!) but if you act interested then she might get the hint that you like her and depending on her body language you should be able to tell if she's interested in you too. My advice is to just go for it - if she really is thaaat cute then what is there to lose?! Even if she turns you down, at least you'll be more confident next time another hottie comes along!! ;) Just tell your mates you've met someone and to cancel the blind date!! Good luck!!!

What is the reason you hate blind dates? And wouldn't it be terrible if you turned down the blind date to search for this mystery woman and then found out SHE was the blind date? But in answer to your questions, you could start a conversation about the bus route and if your directions helped. And yes, it is too weird to ask her out this early, especially if you are desperately trying to avoid something else.

what if ... lets just say, what if this bus stop girl is the blind date? How cool would that be. Or you end up liking the blind date better than bus stop girl? Its just one simple date and if you hate it don't do it again. Give her a chance go on the date.

Of course you dont know anything about her, thats what you have to talk to her about. Ask her about herself. Who she is, where shes from, what she does...... ect... Ask her those basic questions, and then when you are talking to her, ask her if she would like to have dinner with you sometime and get to know each o ther better. Good luck, and dont rule out the blind date either... wouldnt it be strange if the it were the girl from the bus stop???? lol

i think you should take the blind date u will get to meet someone new and it might turn out u guys might really like eachother
