Some people said that is not the correct meds. pls help.

well it is the correct meds for humans, it is prescribed for bacterial infections usually the ones in the intestines or more often vaginal infections in humans

Actually it's Giardia--and Flagyl is the appropriate treatment. Flagyl is the trade name for metronidazole which is probably what people are mistaking.

yes,flagyl is correct for giardia,also called giardiasis.ps-as for the person below,who said post this in dog section-giardiasis can affect humans as well as animals.
