Navy Marine Corp VS. Air Force and Army?

Okay, this has been on my mind...

So let's say the U.S. were to have another civil war, and these were the teams...who would win?

Battlefield- U.S.A
Time Frame -Today
Opponents - U.S. Navy & Marine Corp VS. Air Force & Army

marines may be tough but they have extremely small numbers compared to the rest and the navy can obviously only cover so much land from the water.

Navy and marines the navy doesn't just sit in boats they actually fight on land and no matter what marines and navy combined would kick army and Air Force's a** any day

Interesting question but putting emotions on the side, the Air Force and Army team would win. The Navy does not have a land force per se, except for the Seals, which could be counterattack by the Army SFs. Marines are too small to fight, the Army. Once you take their logistics out, they are done, their equipment is old and with the technology that the Army and the AF have, is just a matter of time before they are taken out. Some people would argue that they are tougher, well, toughness can only stop so many bullets and as this conflict has shown, their skills left a lot to be desire. I remember one Marines, he was asked what their mission was, he replied that it was to beat the Army to Baghdad, well, needless to say, many of them died and still the Army had to drive in and just drive around and waited for the Marines to catch up. So, bottom line, better equipment and better trained soldiers would give the advantage to the Army and AF team.

Navy and Marine Corps

1 because they whoop @$$ together already.....the Whole Marine Air Ground Task Force, throw in a nulcear Sub..BAM
2) the Army and Air Force would need a year to plan and move then if their Morale got low they would quit. Sailors would live on a ship and eat terrible chow and love it because they could go to excellent liberty ports overseas away from the civil war. The Marines will live in squalor and love it as long as they can kill the enemy.

Hope it never happens .

Sorry Marines, but the Air force and Army WOULD DESTROY. Only because of the Air Force. The navy and Marines have a strong air force themselves, but wouldn't be as capable as the Air force.

Now if were talking strictly ground force and infantry, again, I think Army would win, only because of the shear number of troops they have but the MARINES would probably put up one hell of a fight! It's about a 10-1 ratio with army and Marines though. I bet the Marines would take out at least 3/4s of the army before they went down though lol. Which is really impressive.

To the guy above me...every guy in the Army is a rifleman first as well.

well that would basically be the navy against army and air force because the Marines are a division of the Navy but i would think the navy would have the advantage because of the ships and more intense training. The have planes as well to combat the Air force but i dont know why branches of the military would fight each other...

Navy & Marine Corps...they are used to working together and the Navy has more aircraft than the Air Force.

I'd take the Marines over the Army any day...the Army may have greater manpower, but every man in the Corps is a rifleman, not mostly mechanics, cooks and supply clerks who don't know one end of the rifle from the other.

Navy and marine corp just because the navy is in the water it doesnt mean it can cover that much ground. The af and army dont go many deplyments like the Navy and marine corp. When their is a situation across the globe who is their first either the navy or the marines. Navy and marines open the door first af and army just their to pick up wats left.

The Navy would initiate movement at FULL SPEED AHEAD, and rush the Marines in.. THE FEW, and THE PROUD..

This frontal assault would be stopped cold from a counter-offensive by the Army (ARMY STRONG), with help from a brilliant feint executed by the Air Force, because NO ONE COMES CLOSE. The Coast Guard would be right there, ALWAYS READY.

The Marine Corps would take out everyone. We are trained beyond all. I'm kinda partial, myself.(Devil Dog for Life) We live by One shot, One Kill. Army, has money for equipment, More Helios but not as well trained fighters. Air force is just that Air Force. USMC would take them Land, Air, and Sea. Why else you you think Marines are the guardians of heavens Gates?We instinctively have primal reactions. To survive any and everything. Time proves it. Plus think about it Marines are First in Last out.!!! Ooh Rah...

Well the that is a easy question, of course the marines will totally rape the army and the navy would have a good battle vs the air force.Also don't forget, the navy has airplanes to.
SO i would go for the MARINES and Navy.Numbers in the Army are bigger but they don't have much technology as the marines and aint prepare as the marines.
