We are at war against a vicious, relentless and merciless enemy whose goal is world domination.

What's your plan following our surrender and withdrawl?

Do we just hope everything will turn up roses?

Was the plan all along to just criticize Bush and offer no solution? That's what it looks like to the rest of us.

The question is "What's your plan", what should Hillary or McCain do if they're elected to office?

Should we all just party hardy and let the rest of the world take up the slack like Spain did? I'm sure that's the troll position.

What about you. What do you think should happen after we waive the white flag?

I just read every answer.

Of all those who voiced an opinion against the war, not a single plan was proposed.

Everybody assumes I was pro-war after 9/11. I was not. Neither am I "pro-war" now. But surrender is not a plan.

I was looking for alternatives, not communist slogans.

I know that many may disagree, but we can not leave Iraq now or anytime soon. Who would like to have Iraq taken over by Iran and Syria? Should we run now and go back and fight an even bigger war next year?

Get real people, WE CAN NOT LEAVE, that would be the absolute, dumbest thing we could ever possibly do.

After we leave and Iran and/or Syria take over, how long before they start a war with Israel?

You people need to get your heads out of your *ases and see the big picture, you can't possibly be that dumb. We stood by while Hitler took over most of Europe and Northern Africa. We waited while he built the Atlantic Wall, and then we acted.
That waiting period cost the lives of millions of people. Not even counting our own men.

Thank you for your question and your points are well taken, at least, by me.

Personally, I don't think we should have gotten into this war to begin with.
But now that we ARE in it, up to our necks, we need to get with it, and WIN.
Surrender simply is not an option. I don't see any viable compromises in the offing...
Nobody wants to drag out the nukes, for obvious reasons.
However, we still have superior numbers and superior strength. We need to bring this idiocy to a decisive conclusion, and make it very clear to the rest of the world that America is still a super-power to be reckoned with.
It's the only course open to us at this point...
that is, unless we want to become "Ameristan" for real.....
*shudders*
As you said, we have come against a vicious, relentless, and merciless enemy, whose goal is world domination. We shouldn't have gotten into it in the first place, by this time everyone knows that it is really all about oil, and money....but we ARE in it, and we need to WIN. Another disgrace like Viet Nam is something we cannot allow. Not this time.....

The Israeli government is already arranging for Israeli companies to handle all the juicy contracts, including post-withdrawal security. it will become an Israeli colony in all but name,as planned. Blame bush all you want but he's too dumb to think independently and the neo-cons at JINSA plotted this war back in '98. But hey i don't want to call Wolfowitz,Feith,Abrams,Zakheim et. al. a bunch of war criminals. That would be anti-semitic. can't have that. So george is the fall guy,we pay the bill a million people die, another million flee in terror. Now all the Jews are bombarding us with editorials on The Importance of Invading Iran and meanwhile Tzipi Livni and german Chancellor Merkel are obviously cooking up a "pre-emptive war" against Syria. Truly, all nations will kneel before israel. Yes,some people do know whats going on. Conquer, devastate, plunder, dominate, all with the Bible belt making sure the U.S. is always available to serve as their attack dog.

Go home, sit and think about what this enemy is.

The enemy does not have a country, or an army to call their own. But an underground existence based on black market and personal agenda.

Theyre like drug trafficers, and any other underground existence.

And everybody knows, you cant stop drug trafficing by going into other peoples lands uninvited.

Funny thing is that we are not really fighting them in Iraq, we are caught in a Civil War that you and the Bush Administration were warned was a likely outcome.

Maybe after 20 more years we can get back to dealing with 9/11 and its perpetrators?

Or do you just want to call the whole thing off and let them live out their days in Pakistan.

You let Osama go. You are the one responsible for turning your back on Al Qaeda to go on a little "As long as we're here" misadventure. You voted for this and continue to support it.

I have no doubt that you also backed the US support of Saddam in the 1980s, as a solution to the 'Iran Problem'.

Maybe someday in the far flung future we can get back to dealing with that if we ever finish cleaning up the Reagan "Solution".

The first order of business, before anything else can possibly be accomplished is to deal with YOU! and others like you right here in America before you create another mess that we have to spend a few dozen trillion dollars and a few decades cleaning up.

Iran was the original problem, and as long as the Republican solution is played out, Iran wins, in every possible scenario.

Don't have a plan either, I'm afraid. However I visited the Vietmam Memorial recently and someone wondered out loud how big the Iraq monument would be.

We shouldn't surrender since we started the fight, but we need to stop pussy footing around and wage a full-out attack on the enemy instead of pulling away when they hide behind a village that fully supports hiding them.

Burn the freaking villiage!

You do this three or four times and the people of Iraq will start to kill terrorists on sight to keep their families safe.

We aren't like over there already, so who gives a crap about how mean we look for doing this?
