I'm talking to this girl (she's white I'm black) and I like her and she knows it. We're both juniors in h.s.We're just good friends and joke around a lot. Talk to each other on the phone, you know! Well I'm been ignoring her sort of in class because lately things have been awkward so I'm like taking a break.So we were in class and I'm doing a research paper with this girl I use to talk to but I stopped because I really started liking Jane. And the girl I'm doing the paper with asks really loud "Why don't you call me like you use to? I remember you use to talk to me and we'd have a good time together but you just stopped! What happened?" and Jane was like listening the whole time! I was thinking "crap". And like now she's been ignoring me and when I call her she's not picking up! She ALWAYS picks up or calls back.
I don't want a girlfriend but I wanna make it right with girl I like.
What do I do?

All you can do is explain things to her and hope that she understands.
When girls like a guy and we realize that things aren't going our way, we separate ourselves from the situation.
If she's a true friend and she really cares about you, she will try to understand.
Tell her you like her, but you're not ready for a relationship yet.

first off you started ignoring her. So, she is obviously doing the same you did to her long before your other friend you were working with on the paper said that. why did you stop talking to her. you ignoring her like you said on taking a break she obviously thinks you may have a attraction for eachother. go up to her and school and talk to her if she doesnt answer the phone.

it seems that both of these girls are jealous of your friendship with the other. I tell you what, girls like that are no good. However, if you want to get back on her good side, talk to her and ask why she will not answer your calls.
Women are hard to figure out, man, so don't worry, it is just H.S. drama and there probably is some bad blood btw the two.

why don't you just separate yourself from this...usually the absence reveals the answere. Take a vacation for your own selfworth and state of mind..If she is not picking up..so what that is her choice. You have already done your part now it's up to her. So sit back, hang with your friends and enjoy life...and see what it brings..hope it helps somewhat

Try to get to talk with her and explain things. If this fails, try to have a girl friend of hers talk to her on your behalf. The next step would be for a friend of yours to talk to her to explain things. Other than that, maybe a "cooling off" period will give you a chance to slowly work back to her.
