The best answer you have gotten here is the very last one...(that I saw anyway!) And since you are writing it, there is an accent called "accent" grave on the "a" and circomflexe on the"o" of such as " À BIENTÔT", which means "SEE YOU SOON!"
"ADIEU", is a definite "GOOD-BYE" as though you didn't mean or expect to ever see that person again...
and "AU REVOIR" (in two words!) means more like "SEE YOU!" (implying you'll see the person later!)
"BONJOUR" (one word) is "HELLO" or "GOOD-DAY" and if you need more give me a shout. I am a French writer!

"À la prochaine" is also a way to say "To the next time when we speak again!"

You spell "Goodbye" in French "Au Revoir". "Bonjuor" is obviously "Hello"!

Aurevoir in one word when you are expecting to see again this person.

Adieu when it is the last goodbye.

There is "au revoir" (pronounced "oh-rev-waa") which is a sort of "goodbye for now" and "adieu" (pronounced "ad-yoo")
which is a more permanent farewell.
