Maybe 3 months or so ago..I weighed about 125/126 or so. I watched what I ate and exercised maybe 30 or alittle more minutes a day.
Well..we went on vacation and I gained about 3 pounds...so i wanted to lose them..so I doubled my exercise and ate alittle less.
Well..I did lose some weight..

I'd be 128 one week..the next 126..then 127..128 again...129...and so on...If I'm exercising more and eating less..why do I gain weight instead...?

I don't think it's muscle..all I'm doing is aerobics and stationery bicycling..

Why do I sometimes gain weight?

Because I'm confused,lol..If I go to a doctor and need to tell them my weight..what I am I supposed to say?

Thanks =)

Aww I feel your pain! Us women can gain weight at the drop of a hat. It could be that you are retaining water. Also you can gain muscle from doing aerobics. If you feel like something is off and you need some real answers going to the doctor is the best thing. Tell him that you are having some problems with weight gain, not much but enough to drive you crazy. It might be something really simple that you are over looking in your diet for daily routine.
I hope I helped! Good Luck!

Are you weighing yourself at the same time everyday? Wearing the same exact clothes, or even better, nothing at all? Depending on the time of day, your weight may fluctuate a pound or two either way. For example, if you weight yourself a half hour or so after eating dinner, the scale may read a pound or two heavier. It is best to weigh yourself at exactly the same time every time you weigh yourself and to do it without clothes on. For example, I always weight myself on Friday mornings, once a week, right when I get up before getting in the shower, before eating anything.

The same time will give you a more accurate answer.

Alright, I'll say it again. Eat smaller portions,stay away from sodas, fatty, greasy, or sugar filled foods. Eat your veggies. Drink water. You will gain weight exercising. Muscles weigh more. Why worry about your weight if you look good? How tall are you? I bet you are not over weight. Keep exercising. It gives energy and tones the body. Among many other really positive things. Just don't over do it. That's not so positive. Try to keep a schedule. That will help.

Well you might have just overindulged on vacation and gained a couple of pounds but honestly I don't think it's anything to worry about. Your weight can differ a lot depending on if you're losing or gaining water weight. But your weight is fine! You sound really healthy to me, so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. If you KEEP gaining weight, so much that's it's obviously not muscle, then go to a docter.. Don't be afraid to tell them your concerns. I promise they've heard it before.

When you exercise you can be building muscle. You might see yourself going down in size but maybe weighing more It sounds like you are @ a good weight. Just try to be healthy; eat nutriciously and exercise regularly.

The up and down is mostly water. And if its only 1-2 pounds from week then that is very normal. Also, you weigh differently in the am then you do at night. You also might be adding some breast fat or hip fat which is also normal, if you are female anyway.

are you weighing yourself at the same time each week, because your weight fluctuates during the day.
if you are, then you probably are developing muscle, aerobic activity does help to build up muscle, just a slower pace than weightlifting.

Weight always fluctuates a bit because of metabolism. If it's only one or two pounds like you say, it's nothing to worry about.
