I agree with Jay, but there are some things you should be aware of as you make your decision.

1) There is no such thing as a freestyle BMX. BMX means "bicycle motocross" and implies that you'll be racing offroad.
2) Freestyle bikes are intended for use on paved surfaces, and are designed to allow complex stunts at relatively low speeds. They typically do not have protection to seal out dirt and crud so should never be used offroad.
3) BMX bikes tend to be very light and pretty much stripped down. Better models don't even have a front brake. You should never put footpegs or other "freestyle" type accessories on a BMX.
4) The closest combination of a BMX and a freestyle is called a jumping bike. They have many of the features of both models but are generally too heavy for racing and too fast (gear ratios are too high) for stunting effectively.

Freestyle. You can use it more places. I just switch out the tires when I go off road anyway.

I don't think anyone here can answer this for you. You need to get the bike that suits your own style and needs.
